Dell Studio 14 Fans Club

Hello, looking for DELL Studio 14 users here as this items seem very rare in this forum. users are welcome to join as a member and to discuss eevrythign regarding studio 14 here.

Dell Malaysia has quietly become the first recipient of the Studio 14, the company's first sub-15-inch Studio model. The new design puts a 14 inch 1280 x 800 display with an LED backlight into the more upscale design of the series and customizable with any of seven different lid colors. It has the features including 2.1GHZ Core2Duo, 2GB RAM and 250 GB hard drive

The Studio 14 is the latest addition in Dell's Studio line up. The 14-incher is a nice laptop computer for office and home users. Specification-wise its pretty good. You get almost everything here. The Studio 14 is now listed on Dell Malaysia website starting at $1,040.

Sure, it isn't exactly as exciting as the teased 'Adamo' laptop, but Dell's Studio 14 laptop is still worth a look. Revealed, oddly enough, on Dell's Malaysian site, the system sits, oddly enough, between the 15.4in Studio 15 and forthcoming 13.3in Studio XPS 13.

Spec wise there is, as usual for Dell, a range of customisation options. CPUs start from a 2.1GHz Core 2 Duo T8100 and span up to the 2.6GHz T9500, up to 4GB of RAM can be fitted and graphics power comes courteously either an integrated Intel X3100 GMA or dedicated ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3450. That 14.1in screen packs a 1,280 x 800 resolution panel, which is disappointing but on par with rival systems, such as the Samsung X460. On the plus side, it is at least LED-backlit and it also featured the backlit keyboard feature.

As with other laptops in its Studio range, Dell allows a range of colour options, including "Jet Black," "Flamingo Pink" and even "Tangerine Orange." The base spec system is listed as 3,599RM (~£700) which seems pretty reasonable and even a decently specced machine will probably be hard pushed to exceed the £1,000 mark.

While it is possible that the Studio 14 could be a Malaysian exclusive option, that seems highly unlikely. Expect an update to Dell's UK site any time soon

Specification View :
Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T9500, 2.6GHz
Microsoft Windows Vista Premium
14.1 inch Glossy, widescreen display
Up to 4GB Dual Channel 800MHz DDR2 SDRAM
250 GB SATA HDD

Details :
Dell Studio 14

Dell studio 14 youtube Video :
Dell Studio 14 Youtube

WElcome to join as a member to discuss and share.
