I'm looking for 925 silver charm bracelets. I know Tiffany & Co. and Thomas Sabo are famous shops for this but I'm looking for something cheaper.

1. How to check your SOCSO no.? Is it same with your IC no.? Say if your IC no. is 900512-14-5188, then your SOCSO no. is the same 900512145188?

2. I can only find KWSP no. on my EA Form? Is it same with the EPF no.?

Hi all,

I recently upgraded my streamyx from 256kB to 512kB in the PC fair by adding just RM5. (It was a promotion.)

So yesterday a technician from streamyx called me to make an appointment to come to my house to fix a wireless modem. He said the upgrade would entitle me a free wireless modem. I was in doubt because as far as I know, upgrading to 2MB only will entitle you for a free wireless modem. So I asked him does it need extra charge and he said no.

So I called up the guy who help me register for the upgrade. He confirmed what I thought. But he said maybe the streamyx technician made a mistake so if he says it's free just let him install it.

Although the technician said there's no extra charge but I'm still in doubt because as far as I know, the technicians just receive orders. They don't really know the details.

I've a colleague who had similar experience but he just told the technician his package doesn't include a wireless modem.

I'm desperately in need of help here. Does anyone have similar experience before?

I'm afraid this is some gimmick that streamyx do to steal money from people.

What should I do?
a) Tell the technician frankly that my package doesn't include a free wireless modem and don't allow him to install it.
b) Let him install it and see at the end of the month does it have extra charges.
