Want to get input from experts here as I am building a desktop with 720BE cpu which i won't be trying to OC so should I just get a cooling fan for the case or a cpu cooler?Would heat impact the performance of the cpu?Thanks~

I am doing bulk insert within ms sql server management which I keep getting error of "Cannot bulk load because the file "c:\file1.fmt" could not be read. Operating system error code (null)."

I have a sony nwa3000 and I have used SonicStage to upload my songs onto it before but it does not display like the play history, top 100 played song and such on my nwa unless i used the Connect software.

I was wondering if the new SonicStage allows this?I have lost mt Connect software CD and I couldnt manage to find a full version of it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks~

I have use vb 6.0 with access before but left it for quite some years now i am coming back to vb express but i cant seem to get it to work with sql server express which is quite frustrating.

anyone know any sites or books which actually talks about how to set up the sql server express and connecting onto?most of the things i found are just some databinding. any help would be greatly appreciated~Thanks~~

I am currently using phpmyadmin to upload .txt files into the db using sql which look something like this

LOAD DATA INFILE 'data.txt' INTO TABLE tmp LINES TERMINATED BY '\r\n';

INSERT INTO data
SELECT
SUBSTR(str,1,6),
SUBSTR(str,7,20),

FROM tmp;
Now is there a way to write some coding to run this command in web browser using php so that I don't need to manually go into phpmyadmin to type all of these into the sql?

I need to get data of 0.0001 of this type into mysql db but i only have the idea of doing it with text format and using double will only give me 0.0 but not the whole 0.0001

I got the MS Server Management Express and MS SQL Express installed to be used with MS VB Express 2005.

"the create new sql server database" selection is grey out which I could not select.

I have a table call "stock" which contain stock_id and stock_number where there are duplicate stock_id in it.

I display them out onto html using SELECT * FROM STOCK

Stock Id | Stock Number
================
1 | 10
1 | 20
1 | 20
2 | 14
2 | 15
3 | 15

is there anyway to construct a query which allows retrieval of data to be display like this?It is much more easier to read~

Need some help from sifu here~

I have a table which have two field call "name" and "id"

Name | Id
--------------
John | 1
King | 11

the "id" for John is " 1" which has two spaces in front of it.

the problem is that while using html to display these data which has spaces in front of the id would not be displayed on html format using while do loop to fetch and display the row.

Any way to display out those spaces?
