AppleCare Protection Plan for your Macbook

Hi, I decided to get a macbook pro soon (with student price =P)...

However, i do not know if i should get extra 2 year warranty (AppleCare Protection Plan) for another 1k (2.0ghz series), or go for extra processor power.. (2.2ghz perhaps, might consider 2.3ghz due to cache)..

My usage usually on iOS development and do parallel desktop for Visual studio development..

So, would like to ask the MBP user out there, on which particular year your macbook cry for service?

I was stuck in my shopping cart for which to choose. and i can't find Logitech X-540 around lowyat to test out.

So, if my main concern is on bass,
Use most on HD movie and slightly gaming.

should i get
Edifier R501 MKII

or should i get
Logitech X-540

Or any 5.1 speaker within RM 350 to Rm 450.

First of all let me explain what's my problem..
this is my code:-

I wanted to create a function that limit the character that user may use.. like only alphanumeric without punctuation.. this code is just my draft so is not yet finalize by me..

but my problem is during the backspace command..

when ever the backspace is tab, the strlen(words) is added instead of deducted..
so when user play with the keyboard and tab backspace like idi*t, the strlen() will added non stop,
and problem arise when the function return the words, console crash,cause the char gg [10], but i return more character like 100 for example..

my question is, do i have any code to eliminate the spaces like trim function in C++???
I tried many user defined trim function but none of them works..

and try to ignore my purpose of the code coz as i say, is not finalized...
