dear sifus..

my fren pc dont want to boot.
when turn on the pc, the display just blank,
the monitor still in standby mode,
and not detecting any activity of the pc.
the hdd led indicator (beside the power led) not blinking,
bios setup can't be enter.

i already check the C partition and hdd,
they all dont have problem when boot on my pc
but when i using my hdd into this pc,
still same,the pc power is on,
but nothing display on monitor..

the pc spec,
CPU: Intel C2D (dont know which model)
MOBO: Jetway P4M9AP
RAM: Kingston 1GB
GPU: Sapphire HD5450 512M
PSU: 450W
HDD: Samsung 320GB (2 partition)

Data Pelancongan Sabah bocor selepas digodam
Di sebalik jaminan polis bahawa tidak ada data yang akan bocor dalam serangan ke atas laman web kerajaan malam semalam, satu set data pengguna didakwa berjaya dicuri dari laman Pelancongan Sabah dan disiarkan di Internet.

Data 392 akaun pengguna laman itu kemudian dimuat-naikkan ke sebuah portal bebas yang tidak dikenali. Ia turut memuatkan emel pengguna, nama pertama dan akhir pengguna dan juga kata lauan mereka yang telah dipadamkan.

Sementara itu, The Star/Asia News Network melaporkan laman yang digodam itu dikesan awal pagi ini oleh ketua pegawai eksekutif syarikat berkenaan.

"Sebahagian daripada laman web itu didapati telah dipadamkan apabila saya melayarinya,” kata Dhillon Andrew Kannabhiran, yang mengetuai Hack In The Box (M) Sdn Bhd.

"Saya baru pulang dari lawatan luar negara,” kata portal itu.

Laman Pelancongan Sabah telah dihentikan seketika.

F-Secure Corporation (M) Sdn Bhd, sebuah syarikat perisian keselamatan komputer mengesahkan perkara itu.

hi all...

i'm will get HP Compaq dc7100 CMT desktop PC from my
company, they want to give the old PC to staff

here the specs:
1. Intel Pentium 4 2.8Ghz HT
2. 1Gb DDR PC 400 RAM
3. 120Gb HDD

this PC mobo is using pcie slot
can i upgrade to new ATi 4 or 5 series GPU?
can this spec can supports the new age GPU?

my fren laptop HP540 hv a prob with da display (lcd)
the screen goin to shaking by itself..
it happen when starting the window and after screensaver..

plz guyz...dont wan to spend lot money to HP center..

My Dell computer going nothing when loading and kept restart when loading windows... But when I tried to format the hdd to reinstall windows, a blue screen appeared: A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.

Then, i was format and install windows using the another computer.It was successful until the hdd going into the DELL computer and then it tells me I can start up in safe mode, safe mode with networking, safe mode with command prompt, last known good configuration, or start windows normally.

I have tried ever single one of those and each and every one of them leads to that dreaded blue screen that says: A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer. If this is the first time you’ve seen this stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears again follow these steps: Disable or uninstall any anti-virus, disk defragmentation or backup utilities. Check your hard drive configuration, and check for any updated drivers. Run CHKDSK /F to check for hard drive corruption, and then restart your computer.
Technical information:
*** STOP: 0X00000024 and a bunch of other numbers and letters...

And there's no way for me to get past this screen...

So what am I supposed to do? Can my computer and all my stuff on it still be saved? I would greatly appreciate your help!
