internet login

Hi I would like to know if there is anyway to turn off automatic logon to the internet(streamyx). When your pc is connected to a modem, and you turn on your pc, it automatically will logon to the internet without the streamyx dialler. I would like to shut this off and access the internet through the streamyx dialler only. Is there any way to this. I am running windows xp home.

dvd burner

My DVD burner cannot burn on new dvd r/w anymore. It still can burn on cd r/w and cd r but not dvd r/w. Funny thing is it can burn my two year old dvd r/w. The new ones I just bought and I bought benq, tdk, no name dvd r/w and dvd r, just to troubleshoot and try them out, all cannot be used.

Is there a newer dvd version compatiblality issue. I got two rigs at home and both of them seem to have the same problem. When I insert the new dvd r, dvd r/w disc into the dvd burner, it just does not detect like there is no disc exist at all. Anyone can help me? Cd r and cd rw all no problems, old dvd r and dvd r/w also no problems. Its only the new dvd r/w and dvd r that have problems. Its a mystery to me and i tried google but no answer....

Hi, I am a noob just so u know. I installed a new gc, 7600gt AGP, connected the extra power source on the side of the card. Some games run fine like FEAR, OBLIVION, CALL OF DUTY 2 but some other games like BATTLEFIED 2, which ran earlier with my 5200fx card now can't run and keeps restarting the pc.

Anyway I appreciate any help given. Thanks in advance
