Good day everyone,

So today I saw a post on Mudah for a Fujifilm Camera for RM2,250 (Average used price is RM3100). I approached the seller and ask about the condition, etc. He said it's 4 months old, good condition, and he's selling it because wife is giving birth so he needs the money. He then sends me photos of the camera and I was like awesome deal. I told him I was interested, etc.

Then I thought it was too good to be true, so I took the advertisement's photo and did a search on Google Search and found that the photo was used on a different forum in the US. (Pics in below spoiler)

I continued my search with the photo he send on WA and I found another ad on eBay US with all of the same photos.

I conclude this guy is a scammer, so I told him I can't proceed with the deal because I have other commitments to pay 1st.

I would like to know should I be afraid of any backlash or repercussion from him? I did share my home address while dealing with him - DUMB MISTAKE BY ME

Anyone care to chip in their opinion? Should I lodge a police report? Will they even entertain?

Just wondering if my Nikon D3100 is repairable? I mounted a speed light and accidentally dropped it. The hot shoe part broke of from the body. Camera functions still working but, the flash won't pop up. So I wonder if it's possible to fix this? If so, what is the cost? By the way, my warranty is over.

Setting up Network for Warcraft 3

Hi there,

I would like to know the procedure to set up a network of laptops to play Warcraft 3.

This is my situation.

My friend and I both have Dell Studio 15 with wireless adapter. Can we create a network to play LAN games. Both are using Windows Vista. So I've tried to setup a network using the Adhoc thingy but it disconnect after a while.

So any solution? Btw, we're in USM, Penang and we want to play in our room. So using a wireless router is not allowed.

SSPN and PTPTN

There's a lot of topic around about this two and I don't have much time to read all of it and search the answers for my questions. I hope someone can help me. It's getting very confusing for me.

1. How do we apply for PTPTN?
--->Correct me if I'm wrong. We first buy a pin code from BSN, then register online through the PTPTN website. Then when receive offer from uni, we apply for the loan.

2. So what's this SSPN? Do we need it at all?
--->I read just now that we don't have to open beginning 18th May 2009. I opened mine around 3~4 weeks ago and the people in Maybank never inform us about this. This is stupid~ If we don't need it why open it?

3. If we don't need it (SSPN) how the hell we close it?
---> When I open it, I put RM 100 in it. So if this account is useless the for what I leave it there?

I really appreciate if someone can answer my questions and give me a guide to apply. The PTPTN website is not very helpful also. No proper guide at all.

Hi Sifus, Gurus, and Masters of Guitars,

I seeking for any suggestions, tips, or advices on buying my first ever electric guitar. I've been playing acoustic guitar for 4~5 years already. I'm pretty good at it. My 20th birthday is coming and my sisters would like to buy me one. I'm don't know anything about electric guitars and stuff.

I looking for something better than a beginners guitar but not that high end. I like the Les Paul shape. I listen to a wide range of music genres but I like rock a lot. Example, Good Charlotte, Blink 182, Metallica, Slipknot, Linkin Park, Simple Plan, MCR, and stuff like that. I can play songs like Nothing Else Matter (Not Excellent, just Average). I was think of a guitar that I can learn to "shread". Hahaha.

Well, I don't know how much my sisters would want to pay but I think around 1.5k to 2k including an amp.

So guys, can you help me? Thank you!

Edit: I'm staying in Melaka. If possible, suggest me places to buy.

Hi,

I need some advice on this. Okay, this is what happen. My GF and I had sex 3~4 weeks ago and it was safe. I use condom. The next day, my GF said she wasn't feeling comfortable. She said it's like having UTI (Urinary Tract Infection) again. This is the second time already. So I told her to go see the doctor. The doctor gave her some medicine and she felt better. So last week, we had sex again. A quick one. After having sex, she felt pain in the abdomen but it subside and everything went back to normal.

Now she's late 3 days for her period. Is this normal? Could the medication cause her period to come late? Or is she pregnant?
