BMW E46 Coupe 1JZGTE swap questions

Hi all,

It has been ages since my last post in LYN. Currently i have a sweet BMW E46 coupe on hand for quite sometime now. I bought this car from my father, it has been somewhat well kept in the family for the past 15 years. Aside from wear and tear items, this car didn't have any gearbox and dreaded engine issues. Now the car is in need of replacing the aged fuel pumps and MAF sensor then it will be nursed back to perfect health.

Right now i am planning to swap in a Toyota 1JZGTE VVTI single turbo sourced from Toyota Chaser or Soarer. Transmission of the car will be stock Chaser's or Soarer's 4 speed automatic (my current one is ZF4 4 speeder).

My questions

1.) Do i need to buy the whole halfcut for other parts like cooling system, brake systems since i mainly need engine, gearbox, ECU + TCU. I plan to upgrade my brake systems (Brake Servo + Master Cylinder to BMW330i. I got a deal for engine, gearbox, ECU + TCU and full set wiring for RM4k. Halfcut Chaser price is about RM5 to 7k depend on seller. Please advise.

2.) Do i need to modify my subframe? I don't know whether the gearbox oil sump (at the lowest part of 1JZ engine) will be blocked by my stock subframe.

3.) Custom engine mounts, can i use original Toyota engine mount and customise to fit on E46 body?

4.) Long shaft and rear mounting, re-use stock BMW or change to Chaser's ?

Sorry for the long list of questions, i am trying to get some information on this project before i give green light to myself. I need to understand more of it so i can know what the mechanic is doing and can understand the process.

Just going to do a survey with all the F&F friends here to see which factor will generate your buying interest first in a new or used car? Am doing a project on Malaysian auto mobile needs, CAR vs BRAND. I will post up a survey link here soon to gather your feedbacks

Start with my opinion, i am a CAR guy, which means i would interested in a car base on what the car's features can offer first, for examples:

CAR Features (1st factor)
1. Engine performances
2. Suspension types (independent or torsion beam)
3. Safety (crash test review rating if provided)
4. Electronic Stabilising Control, ABS, EBD and TSC
5. Warranty 3 years if possible (for a new car)

BRAND (Second)
1. Brand security (proud to own?)
2. Resale value (most malaysians highest concern)
3. The feel (Conti feel as far i heard from most drivers)
4. Price
5. Maintenance cost

This is a relaxing and simple survey, you are free to write any constructive opinions but please avoid brand or car bashing in here.

Body building for light weight male ...

Hi folks , currently i am very interested and addicted to body building, not trying build a hardcore body that is ... The problem that spinning in my head now is i think i am too light to body building

I am weighted at 60kg, 178cm height ... BMI result is 18.7 which is normal weight ... I wanna ask that do i need to increase weight by taking lots of carbohydrate, fat, protein that will increase my body size ...

I search and ask the pharmacist that told me that my body suffers from high metabolism, most likely my weight will stuck at 60 kg which is so true to me now !! I had increase my appetite, sleep earlier and takes lots of protein (4 half boil eggs per day, fresh soya bean juice ...), i noticed significant increase in muscle mass but no on weight side ...

So fellow body builders, can i build my body to have solid muscles ? My main concern is on my chest muscles which i hate it when i am about to bath and see there are noticeable rip bones on my chest ... That kinda make me look like too skinny, in fact my friend always said my chest looks fine and good with clothes on ... I wanna make it bigger ... is it possible for a "feather weight" person like me ?

Am i being too sad ? Or just normal

Ok er ... Hello, i just broke up recently with my first love 3 weeks ago, basically we been together for 3 years ... Things get worse since the recent CNY, i let her to go clubbing as she always tips me that she wants go clubbing ... I let her go then things get worse because there is this guy, confessed to her when he is drunk, this guys is her sis's college friend, met with my Ex-Gf couple of times. After few days i observed her behavior after the clubbing day, she start to act a little cold, i ask her why, she said i am being too sensitive, then after some tactics of questioning, i lured her telling the truth, as expected, she had a crush on him ... but not deep, i am damn heart broken, then we broke up for the second time ... (i skipped the first break up) ...After 2 weeks, she look for me again, wants to get back to my side, i accept, and i thought she realized that we are meant for each other, 1 month later, she is acting cold again, this time is due to she think i am being protective, eg ask where she goes, who's with her and even suspended her to clubbing, actually i didn't , i only say i prefer her not to go clubbing ... I tried to be my bestest for her, eventually she still acting cold, 3 weeks ago, saturday evening, i called her to talk things over, she said we have so many difference in opinions of lifestyles and thinking, said we are not suitable for each other, the bullshit she told me drive me angry, real pissed off, then i said :"Fine, you wanna breakup, so be it, and remind you that now i'm official hate you for sure" ... Then she cried and said please stop the conversation, then i hang up ... After a while i think i am being too emotional, think to call her back, but when i remembered the second breakup and first breakup also consist of the same problem, which is we are not suitable ... So i pull back ... Nowadays i've been alone, during the day i got stuffs to busy on that actually prevents me from thinking of her, during the night, the memories strikes back, even though whatever i did to stop me from thinking of her at night, they don't work ... A more serious case is, when my friends suddenly ask about my Ex-GF thing (they don't know yet), I actually smiled and said:" we are over lo " ... When i'm alone again, i almost sad till i am going to cry till my pants to wet ... Chest is hurt and can't take my breath sometimes ... I can't tell myself that am i happy without her or its the opposite ... Guys ... Tell me what's going to happen if this situation goes on, am i being psycho ? Or just need time to repair my emotions ... Friends been complaining i am isolating them, they know i got problems but i just get over with a laughter ... I don't know i am missing her or what ... Or i'm being a ***** ...
