Best Photography Monitor

What do you think is the most ideal photography monitor?

So far I have been using a BenQ SW2700PT.

The colour is accurate, I use it for gaming such as overwatch and gets around 110-150 fps.
27 inch, and comes with the cables for apple extended monitor.

So what about you?
What gear do you use for your editing?
Or Does it even matter as you don't print?

How important is colour corrected monitor for the digital age?

I'm sorry,
I've looked everywhere, but I don't have a clue where I should slot this topic in which subject or category.

So since i have a ps3, i'll just throw it in here.

My parents wants me to check the prices for lcd tv. They want me to get one for them, but I don't really shop around kl or pj, cause I work overseas, so i was wondering if you guys know where is the best place to get lcd with a good price??

they want to get a 46-52 inch tv, full hd is not really a big issue cause they don't really buy watch bluray disc and they don't play ps

so a normal hd tv would be fine.

its is better to get it from big reputable shops like harvey norman and best , or is there smaller shops else where with better deals?

what brand is good, I own a samsung myself, so i was thinking of getting them a samsung too. but the sales guy recommended sharp aquos..

so i guess it would be bravia, samsung or aquos.
what do you guys think
