Hi,
It's been a while since I travelled and an out of touch with the new things. Please bear with me, older person here.
I will be traveling to Pakistan for 2 weeks and am wondering if I should just use my Prepaid Digital Celcom roaming package or get 1 of those esims like Airalo?
Which would be the better option?

Grab app not compatible with device?

Hi, my friend is visiting from overseas and because her phone is locked by her service provider rented a phone Nokia C20
She's unable to find the Grab app for consumer on the app store
When we tried to use the grab web page to download it says tat it's not compatible with the device and the guy at the phone store isn't much help

Any ideas why? Is the phone just totally too old?

After researching and based narrowing size down to 60cm. It looks like I'm down to either Electrolux or Rubine. With higher suction power for tat size.
Have I missed any other alternative out?
Are the after sales support for these 2 OK?

I need some window and door grills that are cat proof. To keep my cats safe snd not fall out the windows.
I know of invisible grille for the balconies. But how about for windows and doors? What options would I hsve have and are there any companies on Malaysia who specialise in this?

I notice most of the travel adapters and wall chargers these day have type-C outlets. Tried searching but couldn't find the answer maybe I asked the question wrong.
I wonder if I can use a Type C to C cable to replace the USB to Type C charging cable that came with my Mi11t?

Can someone educate me on this please?

Kastam tax on Gifts shipped from overseas

My cousin in Australia wants to give me her robot vacumn cleaner. She's upgrading. So it will be a gift.
We were thinking of shipping it over to Malaysia.
Now my concern is if Kastams is going to tax the item and if so how will they calculate the amount.
Its a used item and given free and clear.

I'm concerned that it may end up being not worth it to accept the gift if the amount is ridiculously high.

Any advise and wisdom would be much appreciated.

Solutions for pet safety in High rise?

Are there any options for window for pet specifically cat safety in a high rise? I need to find a solution that can be used in a rental unit. So that means I cannot install permanent grills. Would invisible grills be an option? How much would that cost in Penang.? any idea? From what i've read it seems there are removable types?

Is there anything else? How bout those no punch rods available in shopee? But They'd probably close up the whole window if i need to make them so that cat's cant get through them?

Any suggestions please?

The Chromecast units bought in US, the power supply, can i plug it directly into our power supply (with the plug size adapter) or do we need voltage adapter ETC? Alternatively, I guess i can just plug it into the USB port on my TV for power supply?

Rest areas on Highway Penang - KL with dog

Will be making a trip to KL from PG with my doggie pal. She's a local dog so not small. Im hoping forummers can advise which rest areas can be big enough so we can stop at the corner to stretch legs for quick break before continuing our journey.

Even though we clean up after ourselves I understand many people stil not welcoming of dogs in public areas thus my question.

Today I got an email saying that Paypal is no longer useable and asking for credit card number.

With all the credit card fraud going on, i thought that I'd better check and see.

Doggie day care or walking in Penang

I'd need to find a doggie day care service or perhaps a dog walker in Penang. My girls is getting old and needs to go out more often during the day. Since I'm working I won't be able to take her out so if anyone knows of a responsible dog walker that would be preferred. Failing which Doggie daycare.
