my desktop got a issue..when i power up my desktop, no loading bios screen, all the fan is working but no have display come out.

action had been taken:
- reseat the graphic card
- reseat ram
- reseat processor
- check all fan is working

any idea to check?

Hi all, i got this problem after i follow the technical support instruction from IBM TS helpdesk

At first, i wanna boot the XP Cd from USB CDrom but failed. then they teach me using PC DOS to erase my hard drive, and checking my USB CD rom izit spoil or not

All i check is working until after lunch time which is around 2pm.. i not able to format it and blue screen will pop out in half way.. and after that this error had been occured and now i even cannot go in my original vista OS..:S

INF file txtsetup.sif is corrupt or missing

What can i do except from using Vista recovery disk?

i got a dell laptop which is inspiron 1100.. the problem i face now is i can detect the cdrom but i cannot use it.

method i try:

- dl newest driver and install
- uninstall old driver and install new driver
- uninstall old driver and IDE controller and use win OS to detect back
- run in safe mode and repeat above three ways
- check bios and bios detect cdrom

pls help.. ..no have idea wan to troubleshoot it ad
