Why the word 'SPECIMEN' on photographed money?

Why must the word 'SPECIMEN' appear in photographed money in printed media?

Does it mean to say if there's no such watermark, some genius might still be able to reproduce fake money based on a copy of the image in the printed media no matter how low the resolution or as blurry it is??

I've read 2 of his works :

'Blind Willow, Sleeping Woman' and 'Afterdark'. The fact that the setting in his stories are mostly based in Japan attracted me (I've always wanted to visit Japan).

But is anyone out there understand what is the true meaning of his stories? I don't really.

Brain vs. Brawn

Given an emergency situation whereby a pint-sized guy found himself feuding a well-muscled guy.
Obviously the former has no chance against the latter in terms of brute force, but to balance things up a bit, let's say the smaller-sized guy is more intelligent in using strategy and speedier. But then again, to further balance the situation to make it a fair fight, let's say the small-sized guy was taken by surprise. So the bigger-sized guy has the advantage of first strike and calmness.

How will the battle fight out, and who will win?? What do you think Let's just say, its a fistfight and no weapons used.
