Laptop Battery Not Charging

To all notebook tech experts out there, I would like your opinion and diagnosis on what happened to my laptop.

Last night, I forgot to charge my laptop before I went to bed, thus it ran out of 'juice' in the middle of the night.

Today, I found out that my laptop's battery is unable to be charged. It states there that my battery is 2% available (plugged in, not charging)
I've changed charger but it is still the same, and my battery life is still healthy previously.

One of the factors causing this could also be my slightly faulty extension cord which could have short-circuited my battery.

I've already tried to restore to earlier settings, multiple reboots, uninstall and reinstall my Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Battery Method through Device Manager.

***I'm using Acer Aspire 5732Z, Windows 7***

So guys, I just want some opinion regarding the importance of brand logos to you. For example, the crocodile on your Lacoste and etc.

A particular scenario of such happened earlier, I was looking for some polo tees in the mall, and I stumbled upon a very decent promotion by Gap - RM 289 for 3 pairs of polos. I overheard some other customers saying that "haiya, i rather buy Lacoste, ppl can see the crocodile".

So I was wondering, has social esteem became so superficial? Is it really a huge deal to tell the world what brand you are wearing?

My SE recently got soaked, its LCD was ruined. I plan to backup my data/contacts into my pc thru the PC Suite but the thing is my phone is configured in USB mode instead of PC mode. Is there a way to configure my phone to PC mode thru my PC?

Hi guys, i would just like to ask about my rocketdock. I just installed it in my windows7, this is not my first time, i reinstalled it because i reformatted my pc. The problem is that, now the dock does not stays in the background. Even when i'm opening browsers and windows explorers, its still on top there. I already closed the ''mouseover'' option btw.
