Music Discrimination

"Good" or "Decent" or "Great" Rock Bands of Today
http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/851152

Nickelback
Staind
Hinder
Panic! At the Disco
Jonas Brothers
Tokio Hotel
Fall Out Boy

These bands are shit. You can't find "good" or even "decent" mainstream rock anymore. Incubus, Foo Fighters, and Radiohead are more or less at the top of the heap with their most recent releases above average at best, in my opinion. Most of what is considered rock at the moment is more or less emo or more or less down-tempo delay driven pop (Coldplay, derivatives). Past that, the indie rock & Malaysian rock scene is mainly lacking the punch that drives most rock music. What happened to the good ol' Hard Rock/Metal bands like Iron Maiden & AC/DC, or Punk/New Wave/House-Techno-Rock bands like New Order, Pet Shop Boys and Duran Duran?

The first post is discriminative. If a person likes music genre "A", most likely he/she will not like music genre "b". As I feel this music genre discrimination happens almost everywhere I post in this forum. I have reported a few topics and posts about this issue but why there is no response at all?

I feel very bad for those who love the artist/band as it was being "cheaply" talk about in that topic.
