Crosshair fix?

Anyone have experienced from time to time crosshair/target went missing? Is there a permanent fix yet or right now when it happen just need to switch weapon back and from?

So many death from this stupid thingy coz while running then enemy pop up on the side, I target, crosshair not there

Hello all, not sure where to start and saw a lot of ongoing topic here in Low Yat forum.

Sorry if this is the wrong place but I got to start somewhere. I'm looking for a home , my first actually (and already in mid 30s). I do not know how to start and so, let me explain...

Fortunately, benefits from my work, I got a excellent loan rate with a ceiling of rm350k. My office is smack in the heart of KL. So, anyone can advice for a best place (probably a condo right?) to purchase at the moment? Sad thing was I was waiting to buy the Pines near Ampang initially cause it was estimated to be around my ceiling price but then when launch, POOF!! rm425k++.

Any advice is appricated. I just found so useful just looking on place discussion on this forum that can lead me to check also. Additional advice is appreciated.

Some other starting research, browsed homeguru/iproperty already.

Hello everyone!

We are looking for players to fill in some of the core spot for 10man raid. We have completed all the normal instances and have progressed to 5/13 Heroic. We have a few Malaysian, Philliphines and Aussies.

Due to recent movement of players, we in need for a few more players for core spot.

Raid times are (+8GMT Malaysia Time) :
10.30pm - 2am (For now, it's actually 11pm starting until we get a solid healer that can come 10.30pm)

Raid Days :
Wednesday, Thursday, and Monday. Friday is optional.

What we looking for 1 of each :
1. Range - Mage (Crucial for food table and heroic Halfus). Other range class are welcome to try.
2. Tank - Any class.
3. Healer - Any class but priest have higher priority and if you can make it at 10.30pm, you probably have higher priority.

What do we emphasize on?
1. ATTENDANCE, be on time. Again, raid suppose to start at 10.30pm but until we can get a healer that can come at that time, it will be 11pm.
2. SURVIVALBILITY- I seriously like to stress this out. My philosophy on this is, you can do ubber super DPS or can heal 100+ people but if you keep dying from fire on the ground (magmaw normal/heroic), can't run out of flame breath (atramedes normal/heroic), avoid rings (atramedes normal/heroic), then your DPS/Heals means shit.
3. Playable Latency - As a Malaysian, it's unfortunate but it is necessary criteria. If you having latency issue, it will affect your survivalbility. Having gamepath or any other proxy that will make raiding possible is a must. Example would be I am running on 4mbs Streamyx and using gamepath and my game latency is 200ms, so I survive better and react faster.

As for DPS, those are things that can be fix. Again, DPS mean crap if you can't survive.

Help with mail OUTGOING streamyx setup

Hey fellas,

Need help. Using HTC Desire HD.

I need help to have my mail for streamyx.

Incoming mail server : pop.streamyx.com
This is fine. I can receive email no issue.

Outgoing mail server : smtp.streamyx.com
I can't connect to the server. Default port is 25, i tried changing to port 587 and even 465 (with and without encryption) but still no luck. Anyone knows how to setup the outgoing mail server portion? Basically, during setup, i get the cannot connect to mail server for verification notice.

Cataclysm - The downfall of 25man guilds

Hello fellow WoW-ers.

With the Blizzard implementation of shared lockout and equivalent loot for 10 and 25 man raid in Catacalysm, I noticed a lot of big ICC 25man guilds are having issues with Catacalysm. In WotLK, guild tends to push for 25man for better loot, but with Catacalysm, it seems pointless to actually do 25man. With a good 10man, you do not have to worry about 25 player awareness, connection, etc.. Easier to manage 10 instead of 25. Does 1-2 additional loot worth the effort?

From my observation of my current guild, and been playing since day 1, plus have been in a lot of strong Asian/Aussie guild, I like to share some insights on what I am currently seeing in this 25man WotLK pre-Cata guild in post Catacalysm.

Shared lock out killer.
Just imagine you were in a guild with 30 guildies. Let say 23 are core and the rest are casual in and out. In WotLK, you can actually push for 25man raid + 10man raid. Even if you miss a 25man raid, you are still good for 10man. As guild leader, you maybe try 25man on Wednesday with a complete 25man competent raiders. However, on Thursday, the casuals can't make it. So, basically, you are short on 25man raid. You could split it up, but then, 3 of your core raiders got screwed. Other factors that may contribute to not able to form 25man raid are network issues, extremely undergeared, etc.. So, by splitting up, if the GMs are competent enough, having a good rotation system may keep everyone happy, which brings me to my next point...

Groupie.
Oh god, where to begin. I've been in tons of awesome guild that in the end crumbled to this. All raid leaders gotta watch this especially in Catacalysm. Relating back to WotLK, with a 25man team, almost everyone feels like a team (assuming proper rotation is in place etc). However, again, as my point previously, in Cata, you tend to do more 10man. If you do not have a good rotation system between the 10man group, you going head on into trouble. Imagine again, a 30+ man guild. 23 core and the rest are casual. So, the ideal maybe 2 groups, what about a third? If you do not have a proper rotation system, 2 things will happen.

1) Those in the 3rd+ group will not get enough raid time due to on and off from the casuals or left with undergeared guildies and probably ended up quiting WoW or gquit.
2) 2 groups in 1 guild scenario. You do not mix the rotation, everyone has their own 10man group, so, what's the purpose of not having your own guild?

This is what I am currently seeing in my guild, groupies are forming, good raiders with not enough raid time. A few have quit, I probably be next in line.

Well those are my insights/views on the matter. I've seen some good guild still manage to keep up the good 25man raid like Lithany of Fury of Thaurissan.

So, what are your views on this? and maybe as a GM, how do you handle your guild?

Ok, what's the best ISP to play WoW?

I am using streamyx currently (thinking of changing) and i am getting around 210ms ping to the server but lately, the ping is around 300ms for some stupid streamyx issues. That means on 210ms, i get around 600ms and at 300ms ping, i get a latency of 800ms or so.

What are u guys using for WoW? Izzit? AirZed?

Tracert to WoW server on a reasonably good ip.

Notice connection peak at 2nd hop near teleglobe. Either TMNUT forget to pay the bill and teleglobe giving us crappy line for that or "Disruption of communication can only mean one thing... invasion"

Guys, I've been getting ping from yahoo around 550ms+ daily for one month now. I reported it to their support and no one seems to care. They already forwarded to their second level support and no update from them too.

It might not just be us. This happens after patch. Streamyx line wise is good today with almost 0 request timeout and sweet ping to wow server. It might be the above issue affecting us as well.

Ok, last few nights i've been playing on Detheroc server. The thing is, there's no lag at all or no DC. I donno why... other server are like 2k-3k latency with unbelievable lag but not this server.
