Need some sticky tyres

I currently using Bridgestone Potenza RE50A which come as stock tyre, good tyre no doubt but it gonna meet its ultimate fate soon which is aging(5207), the size is 205/45 R17, but base on their web I don't think Bridgestone got offer RE50A for my size in MY , any good alternative preferably more common tyre?

[Solved]Change Start Screen tile background color

Win 8.1 changed its tile behavior they tend to match tile background color to the Desktop Icon, As you can see the image above it is pretty ugly sometimes lolz. I used oblytile) to change it, but I don't like the idea the Obly Tile create a VBScript to launch the Desktopapp itself is it possible to do it without Obly tile?

My Elba Vacuum Cleaner(Cheap Bagged model, I got it Free on Credit card reward) just went Kaput due to overheated after 4 years of usage, As cleaning the house is serious Business, Anyone here can recommend me a Good at suction yet reliable Vacuum Cleaner that will use for at least 5 years, been Intrested on Dyson Vacuum Cleaner, any user here can give opinion? I have no problem on budget as long that Vacuum Cleaner don't go Over RM3000 and not over 10KG hehe lolz

Where PF is power factor of the devices, power factor varies depending on devices such as computer power supply unit, usually computer power supplies have PF over 0.9 or 90% but some devices are as low as 0.3 or 30%, so the industries came up with a standard PF which is actually a average conservative power factor which is 0.6 or 60%, so basically when you purchase a UPS/AVR the do the following for recommended rating for UPS/AVR.

In mid-2010 the world's largest maker of chips acquired McAfee designer of antivirus software. with the announcement of the new technology, it is highly likely that eventually Intel plans to offer a proprietary hardware-software security solution, something that will give it an advantage over chips by Advanced Micro Devices or products featuring ARM architecture. Of course, certain pieces of technology can be used by both Intel and AMD, just like the NX-bit is used by chips from both companies.

The security solution by Intel may not be a luxury for owners of Intel-based devices, but a crucial necessity for today's world. Microprocessors are now inside many devices and the share of CPU-based products will only grow; so will their vulnerability to viruses. As a result, hardware-based protection methods may become compulsory.

The new technology from Intel will naturally be able to protect all the personal computers that utilize appropriate set of chips. However, in the age of the Internet viruses become not only creations of cyber terrorists, but also cyber weapon developed by governments. As a result, the new technology will either make cyber weapon useless or will give Intel (or a government) a key to all computers in the world.

Dirk Meyer, chief executive officer of Advanced Micro Devices, on Monday resigned from the company. The board of directors in a joint statement implied that Mr. Meyer failed to ensure rapid growth for the company and that a new leader would do it better. The departure of Mr. Meyer marks the second resignation of CEO at AMD in less than two years.

“Dirk became CEO during difficult times. He successfully stabilized AMD while simultaneously concluding strategic initiatives including the launch of Globalfoundries, the successful settlement of our litigation with Intel and delivering Fusion APUs to the market. However, the board believes we have the opportunity to create increased shareholder value over time. This will require the company to have significant growth, establish market leadership and generate superior financial returns. We believe a change in leadership at this time will accelerate the company’s ability to accomplish these objectives,” said Bruce Claflin, the chairman of AMD.

Dirk Meyer resigns from the company after about fifteen years at AMD. Under the leadership of Dirk Meyer AMD developed its first high-end microprocessor – the AMD Athlon – in the late nineties. He became the chief exec of AMD in mid-2008, when Hector Ruiz stepped down after making a series of decision that lead to AMD’s loss of leadership on the server market and resignation of many key people from the former ATI Technologies and also losses on the graphics chips market.

Even though Mr. Meyer succeeded in stabilizing AMD financially, managed to get its roadmap back on track and launched a number of leading-edge products, he still could not make the company profitable. While the exact reasons for the step down are unclear, perhaps, the board of directors wants the new chief exec to make more radical decision than Mr. Meyer did. Still, it is unclear how much more radical it is possible to be: Meyer laid off thousands of people and was one of the driving force behind spinning-off the manufacturing facilities.

A CEO search committee has been formed to begin the search for a new CEO. The committee is led by Bruce Claflin, chairman of AMD’s board of directors, who has been named executive chairman of the board as he assumes additional oversight responsibilities during the transition period. Thomas Seifert will maintain his current responsibilities as CFO and has asked not to be considered for the permanent CEO position. Mr. Seifert joined AMD in 2009. Immediately prior to joining AMD, Seifert served as COO and CFO of Qimonda AG, where he led the formation and subsequent IPO of the company. At Infineon AG, Seifert served as senior vice president and general manager in its wireless business group.

“AMD enters 2011 with considerable product and financial momentum. Our roadmap for the year, including our Llano APU and 32nm Bulldozer based processors remain on track. I believe we have significant opportunities to cement our leadership positions in several key market segments based on the strength of our upcoming products,” said the interim chief executive.

AMD also announced certain preliminary results for the fourth quarter 2010. Fourth quarter revenue increased 2% sequentially to approximately $1.65 billion and gross margin was approximately 45%. In addition, the company reaffirms its 2011 annual financial guidance as disclosed at its financial analyst day last November.

It seems Intel have successfully taken out their main target, Meyer is the chief designer who created AMD Atlon 1, hope the Best for AMD , without its power Intel CPU will be expensive.

My mobo Finally blown after it served me more than 5 years(using old IBM lappie to post this thread), so I'm going to get a new one to replace it, Chipzilla Sandy Bridge(Core I5 2500K) is 90% likely target.

I have a CM TX3 at my blown rig and a Hyper 212+ at my Bro's rig then Bang, Mama Frustrated of slow lappies so I thinking to revive the blown one for her as Santa Gift, so I need a new cooler please recommend me Best Bang for RM250 below.

I heard Thermax Eclipse II Fan falling frequently, not sure is true or not
