OJT : EASA PART 66 PROGRAM / APPRENTICE AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE ENGINEER
Duration : Three (3) Years
Venue : Ipoh, Perak Darul Ridzuan

COURSE

1. MLVK Level 3 :
*Aircraft Mechanic (Mechanical) Aeroplane I Piston
*Aircraft Mechanic (Mechanical) Aeroplane I Turbine
*Aircraft Mechanic (Mechanical) Aeroplane II Turbine
*Aircraft Mechanic (Avionics) Aeroplane
*Aircraft Mechanic (Mechanical) Helicopter Turbine

ENTRY ENQUIREMENT

School Leavers / Form 5 / SPM / SM3 / SPVM (pass in Maths, Science, English and Bahasa Malaysia). JPK Level 1 or 2, general engineering discipline or matured student. Able to read & write in English.

THE PROGRAMME is structured in a manner where Theoretical and Practical training will be combined (candidates will have hands-on experience on operating aircraft covering maintenance on Airframe, Engine, Propeller, Electrics, Avionics trade and will submit portfolio).

FAQ

1. Advantages of this course and training.
.:. Training done in Ipoh, Malaysia, for school leavers who have completed Form 3 to 5 and have a pass in Bahasa Malaysia, Bahasa Inggeris, Mathematics and Science.

2. What do I get after my training and work experience?
.:. You are qualified for MLVK Level 3 + Supervisory Skill and obtain transcript and certificate from the Centre and Human Resource Ministry, plus 2 years OJT ( On Job Training)

3. What can I do after my completion?
.:. You are allowed to work in aircraft related agency as a skilled trainee apprentice and work under supervision of a qualified Technician or Engineer.

4. Can I do any exam after employment?
.:. Yes you can do local LWTR (Licence Without Type Rating) exam conducted by DCA (Department of Civil Aviation) on obtaining at least 2 years (total 4 years) aeronautical experience for Aeroplane 1 and 3 years for Aeroplane 2 (total 5 years) on the place of employment.

5. Can I do external exam?
.:. Yes you can sit for UK module exam with British Council, Kuala Lumpur EASA Part modules.

6. Where do I get the training for EASA Part-66
.:. Here at the same location at additional tuition fees.
