I think I might be a victim of a phone spoof

Hi everyone,
I think my phone number of 15 years has been compromised and have been spamming every local Malaysian-registered phone number, giving them a missed call(about 3 calls average per number).

This morning i started to get a phone call from some unknown number(that's not saved on my contacts) asking me why I called them. I answered no, because, I just an office man, doing office things. We ended the call and went on our merry way. Few minutes later, a different number called in and asked the same question, missed call from my number, again. So, I told them that it might be a telco error and that someone else was trying to contact them and it somehow referenced my phone number? Again, we ended the call amicably.

This has been going on for 7 hours now. And I've been having hundreds of missed calls.

I've tried going calling Celcom(my provider) to check if there's some system issue if all missed calls in Malaysia is somehow showing my phone as a caller ID. No dice. Celcom at least claimed there was no issue with my account, but kind of highlighted that yes, those were calls coming from my phone number.

So I checked with Celcom Life whatsapp support, same answer, but they did tell me to head to the nearest blue cube to at least have the SIM replaced. Also, during this time, I swapped my backup phone's sim to the problematic phone, to at least verify if my phone is indeed compromised from any software installed/downloaded. After the sim swap, the backup sim did not show any symptom of calling anyone, because for the 3 hours I had it in that phone, no calls came in. This confirms that the phone is not infected by malware.

While at the Celcom's Blue Cube, once i put the sim back into the phone, the SMSes all started pouring in. Missed calls, SMSes from people who just wanted to know who i was and why i was misscalling them. And this was shown to the Blue Cube staff over the counter. Phone was ringing again, and i answered on loudspeaker for them to listen in. Same deal ," why did you call me?" The sim was not even in the phone and they still claimed i JUST called them a minute ago.

So i went and filed a police report. And at the moment, I'm kind of at a loss. I've been using this number for about 15 years already. And changing numbers now is a hassle because of all the 2fa securities I've enabled for a lot of my accounts. Calls are still coming in, there are even people just downright pissed that they got missed calls like I was doing a childish prank.

I assume this is a spoof spam where they masked their caller ID with my phone number.

I'm not sure what else I can do now.

McDonald's Prosperity Burger Contest Saltmine

You heard about the whole Lau Li Kung saga that happened about 13 months back, where everyone dogpiled on mr Lau for him winning every single contest with the god knows how many cars and big money prizes he's won over the years? Link for the uninitiated

Looking further, what was discussed might very well be just the tip of the iceberg of how corporations or larger companies would just entice people to join and possibly(?) not give any REAL prizes to contestants(or just a fraction of what they would promise)

So, McDonald's has a prosperity burger contest that started in December of 2021(edited from 2022). The T&C is very simple : Purchase of a Prosperity Burger(Beef/chicken) that you eat, is equivalent to ONE entry for the contest. So you take a photo of the receipt, submit to https://www.mcdonalds.com.my/en/prosperityburger and key in your details, viola, you got ONE entry in, AND you get a REWARD of one of a few freebies in the form of a voucher code that you can redeem in McDonald's App.

Simple right?

So the Grand Prize consists of a Proton X70, with other prizes such as TVs, phones, various gadgets and pretty attracting stuff there.
I thought to myself, "Hey, i like Prosperity burger, and what better excuse to tell my wife that we'd be joining the contest with the hopes that I win at least SOMETHING for just indulging in fast food for a month or so?"
We both agreed and embarked on a month-long journey of perstering friends and family to join alongside to help me garner enough receipts to win ANYTHING on the contest. Boy, was I wrong to assume I'd get anything.

My Receipts(some are unaccounted for because I read later in the T&C that they MIGHT ask you for the receipts to proof that you have purchased and used legitimate receipts)

here are all the emails to verify that i have joined and gotten a "reward" for submitting my receipts

The "Reward" is supposed to be a mix of burgers/apple pies/vouchers and lastly, a 20% off the next ala-carte prosperity burger

of all the entries i've sent, 95% of all my rewards are of the 20% off ala carte prosperity burger vouchers. the rest being about 4 ice cream sundae cones, 1 iced latte, and one mcchicken.
I have not seen nor heard from friends who actually have won the cash vouchers listed. I have better luck playing phone gachas with shitty drop rates.

Diving into the rabbit hole of this particular winner, mr Chee Hin Kit(Sometimes Kiat) you will see he has ZERO online presence and only ever been mentioned as a contest winner

I have gone down the list randomly and have been googling a few more of the "winner" names and all of them are ever only mentioned in contests.
"But LunatikBunnie! they might be using other names in SocMed and that's probably why you couldn't find them online at all. you dumb idiot" I hear you, but you'd think at least SOME of them are real human beings with at least a HINT of online presence, we're at this stage of the internet where the early adopters would have at least made FB with their full names and at least have a searchable result, but NO. As far as anyone's concerned, from the moment they are born they only exist as contest entry contestants that solely win stuff that only get announced online.

here are the list of other winners, I don't encourage harrassing them or anything, its just interesting that they are all also contest winners of other contests. I can't imagine the circle for joining and winning contest to be this big. Imagine all the investments you drop into this just to win a bluetooth speaker

The terms and conditions

My wife has also mentioned the offchance that because these people are "professional" contest joiners, they could be a boss of a company where they could just spend their staff just ONE day eating prosperity burger and they will have more entries than me.

Each entry has to be a single receipt. the only way to min-max on this is to purchase each burger separately, on one receipt each, and key in the details.

Let's take me, a sour grape loser as an example. I have eaten/garnered a total of 34 receipts, that's 34 burgers on 34 separate payments. There's 27 winners on the list. They all would have to have eaten at least more than me , and using me as a baseline, that's 27 x 34 = 945 burgers alone, just consuming prosperity burgers.

And with this, each burger i've paid and eaten is around 10.40(ala carte, using 20% off voucher every time i went to buy this), totals up to rm 353 spent. It's not much, but have you tried eating mcdonalds every 2 days and just eating the same burger? I've tried adding cheese/onions/NO onions just to mess about with the flavor. My tongue is sick of eating black pepper flavored cardboard beef. I want to die.

NOT TO mention, they had extended the contest one week so i had to eat more burgers for a week too. The whole thing just stinks of sus.

Sorry for the rant. If there are more information i will add as it goes on.

Also, i've won other contests where you just take photos and pose and win vouchers here and there. I recently won a cash voucher for RM 100 from Ikea for posing at their ROG x Ikea instagram story contest. That cost me 0 ringgit. Think about that shit for a sec.

EDIT : Adding this so people know, this is not me hating on one man, this is me as an individual just joining a contest and trying slightly more than what you'd normally do. I saw the conditions, i weighed my options. I understand i lost the game, its just my findings. Please pray for my now possibly reduced lifespan from consuming garbage food.

Digi screwing me over

Hi guise,
I've been having some issues with my Digi bill(s) lately that I haven't been able to figure out why my bill was snowballing fast into the depths of hell. The first month I changed from Unlimited 68 to the Digi 50 plan with my supp line RM 30 having the Unlimited Lite 33. My first month of changing over costed me RM 213 because of my data usage(i just swapped over to using the YES Huddle) and forgot to close my 3g connection =/.

Then that's where things went downhill from. From my initial RM 80-90 payments per month, it got to 167, then now to 200. And now, at my 3rd day of my new bill cycle month(1st of every month)
I'm just told my limit is over 50% and that my unbilled transaction amount is at RM 91.77. Does anyone know the schematics of the unbilled transaction and how Digi starts each month's bill?

Are the unbilled amount at the beginning of the month actually the monthly commitments charged first before it's tallied with my rebates at the end of the month?

[Q] Where can i find white mice for pythons

I'm in Taman Maluri, and the pet shop i usually go to(Cheras mahkota) is out of white mice. Does anyone know of any in KL area? I think i might have to buy 3-4 mice for my 2 balls. Kindly provide address and phone number of said shop if possible

Note that this function will also be modified into the "smarter" version in the next AI. Also, this function will be able to gang Roshan in next version.

4. "-cai"
Enable all automatic defend/def-end functions, cancelling all effects of "-cdef" and "-catt".

Day 1 Sept 22 2006

10:00 A.M - Windmill Attempt

2 rounds, and fell over(Still trying to recover from my fever)
Legs not straight, should've stretched more first

9:00 P.M - Training session start
20 minutes of stretching warm ups
12 sets of top rock.
20 sets of windmill
5 sets of headspins
3 sets flare attempt
2 set of full performing dance(toprock, 6-step , freeze)

- Injuries -
1.Right pelvic bone area, caused by bad collapsing on an unprepared windmill.
2. Toes, knocking the ground from the headspin positions

- Avoiding them? -
Windmill - Collapse to arm first before backspinning, and the legs should swing under,not towards the ground
Headspin - Collapse to arm first if it is hard to land on your feet

Windmilling
For turtles to handstand, lifting weights does help alot as base strength is needed to carry the body down.
Flare attempts = 10 x 3 sets
1990's attempts = 3 x 7 sets
Injuries = Muscle aches from failed attempts of flare, toe dislocated(fixed it myself)
Drink more milk! it makes your bones strong! D:
