What is Ultimate Quartz Glass coating?
Ultimate Quartz Glass coating is composed of perhydropolysilazane, organic solvent and a small amount of catalyst.
“Perhydropolysilazane”, the main component will be converted to silica glass by reacting with moisture in the atmosphere.

Mechanism of reaction leading to silica

Ultimate Quartz Glass coating can be applied with a spray gun or manually with cloth. When it is left at room temperature for about 5 minutes after application to volatilize the organic solvent, Ultimate Quartz Glass coating instantly becomes dry-to-touch because of its strong self-cross-linking property.
Ultimate Quartz Glass coating then reacts with moisture in air very vigorously, although this is invisible. The time taken for this substance to convert to silica glass depends on conditions, such as temperature and humidity. Ultimate Quartz Glass coating converts to silica film with a density of 2.0 in approx. 2 weeks (the ideal density of silica glass is 2.2.).
Ultimate Quartz Glass coating, which is composed only of Si, N and H, has converted to silica glass composed of Si and O. Inorganic coating has been made, free from any organic constituents such as Si-Me. The characteristics of the above process/ mechanism include the unique reaction that the skeletal Si-N bond changes to the Si-O bond, resulting in the increased molecular weight of a fundamental constitutional unit, 60/45 = 1.33. This phenomenon gives an advantage to coating quality (hardness).
Coating with Ultimate Quartz Glass coating makes it possible to cover the surface of various kinds of substrates with thin glass, normally less than 1 μ in thickness. And it provides these substrates with hardness, durability and hydrophilic properties of glass.
Functions including
1. Easy-to-Clean or protection from dirt, UV etc.
2. Extra layer protection the thickness of 1 micron or less.
3. Corrosion resistance or the prevention of metal corrosion.
4. Scratch resistance or the prevention of the substrates from being scratched can thus be obtained.

Nano Glass Coat ensures that glass surfaces retain clarity, resist scratching, repel water and reflect UV rays. Using a unique German nanotechnology formula, it significantly improves the quality of glass surfaces, ensuring better-protected glass with greater functionality.

By bonding with the glass surface on a sub-molecular level, Nano Glass Coat gives glass super-hydrophobic water-resisting properties. This means that water beads immediately upon contact with the glass and slides off immediately, thereby improving visibility significantly, even in cases of heavy rainfall.

Nano Glass Coat also helps glass stay clear and smooth. It protects glass from the micro-scratches caused by environmental factors while simultaneously giving the glass greater UV resistant properties.
