Mikrotik Hex vs edgerouter x

thinking of either Mikrotik hex RB750Gr3 or Ubiquiti Edgerouter x... anyone has experience with it?

Im trying to do a setup from downstairs BTU -> non wifi router(PPPOE connection - hex or edgerouter)

and from there split to TV(switch etc), DVR, WIFI router(probably need to turn off dhcp server to have full speed)

Issit a good optimum setup ?

btw using 1gbps time internet.
