D3 Installer (all 7GB of it)

So, per topic,

All the while I'm playing on Windows with downloaded online copy, no DVD. The downloaded setup files all still intact.
Now I got a new MacBook, am wondering if it's possible to reuse the same D3 installer files so no need to re-download the whole 7GB again.

I figured since the DVD supports both Windows/Mac, and a DVD is about 8GB, it must be using mostly the same files.
Except don't know which files need to change. Anybody heard anything about this?

Anybody play using Mac/MacBook?

**Update after I got it working.

Well basically I already have the Windows installer files (the 8370 version).
What I did is kick off downloading the Mac version online. Once it created the folders and placeholder files, I stop the download, and replaced all those MPQ files with equivalent from windows folder. Then click Diablo 3 launcher, and it starts update the various patches (total about 300MB download), and then I can play D3 already. Damn nice the graphic

Monsters Affix Combinations

Monster affixes are actually grouped into categories and then restricted based on those categories (to a degree). Our restrictions aren't as tight as some players have suggested, but in the end we found that adding extra limitations often made Elite pack encounters very predictable and repetitive, which kind of went against our design goal for these types of monsters.

We know that not all players will see eye-to-eye with us on how these categories are organized, and we expect some criticism and disagreement, especially from such a passionate group of gamers. While we're happy with where affix combos are right now, we're open to feedback and especially constructive discussion.

Here are the categories:

"Strong CC" (Limit 1):
Knockback
Nightmarish
Vortex

"Defensive" (Limit 1):
Avenger
Extra Health
Health Link
Horde
Illusionist
Missile Dampening
Invulnerable Minions
Shielding
Vampiric

"Aggressive" (No Limit):
Arcane Enchanted
Desecrator
Electrified
Fast
Fire Chains
Frozen
Jailer
Molten
Mortar
Plagued
Reflects Damage
Teleporter
Waller

src: Follow-Up Points
