The unit I am selling to you was sent to Lenovo Service Centre on August 2013 to claim warranty for hard disk replacement. So hard disk is only 4 months old.

The graphics card for this unit (GTX 660M) is working perfectly, not faulty.

Hello there owners of Lenovo Y580,

We all know that Lenovo Y580 is bang for the bug in terms of performance and value.

However, recently , I bought one unit which broke down in 18 days

Going through Lenovo support forum, I found many threads pertaining to problems with the discrete graphic card ( artifacts , overheat , yellow screen and etc )

To those who had their laptop send in warranty purposes, how long did you wait before getting it back ?

problem overclocking amd 939 3200+

hi, i got a question

currently i m using a AMD Athlon 64 3200 + 939 . Its stock speed is 2.0 ghz , but i manage to push it to 2.4ghz

by changing

bus speed : 240

mutliplier : 10

HT link : 4 ( 960 mhz)

vcore : 1.5

The problem is , my old DDR 400 ram is running at 200 mhz ( 400 mhz ) , but after the overclock , its at 240 mhz ( 480 mhz) .

Now , when i try to manually set the dram frequency to 166 mhz so that I can 400 mhz instead of 480 mhz , the computer hangs. If it can run at 240 mhz ( automatically set ) , then there's something wrong with my manually set configs...

I m using 512 MB X 2 Kingston DDR400 ( 3 3 3 8 ) . Everytime i try to manually set the dram frequency to 166 mhz ( to get back 400 mhz) it hangs.

Got any pro can help me solve this ? Has this gotta to do with the memory timings ?
