wearing briefs at home

hi... uhm, not sure if it's an awkward question.. just wanted to know what other guys' stand

do guys wear briefs at home? like, underneath their shorts or homewear, they wear briefs
i kinda generalize all guys wear briefs (well, majority?)

i just moved in with my friends, like 7 of them and mostly guys and yeah... some would walk around with singlet and boxers (w/o briefs) and some with shirts+shorts+briefs.... well i know because i've been living with them for almost a month

i mean i don't mind but uhm, i thought guys wear briefs 24/7 besides in the bathroom? do you?

now whenever i tried to on my computer whether to normal mode or safe mode, it would just stuck on the welcome screen with nothing whatsoever. just the blue background and the logo. i'm using windows xp anyway.

5800 contact error

I'm not sure why suddenly today my contact list when I off and on back my phone, the contact list saved on phone memory one all gone left the SIM card one only.

when i wanna text people, the contact list appears as no contact

I tried to copying those contacts in sim card to phone memory, mark all>copy>phone memory, even the proper steps i found in the internet but it doesn't seems to work, as if nothing happened...

what shouold i do? i tried backup everything and reset factory.... same thing
contacts to display i've already put several memories so i should be able to see all sim one and phone mem....

i wanna frame it and don't want to frame it via glass.... i want plastic one....

nothing much about changing gearbox topic so i'm going to start one...

is it wise to change a 92' proton wira manual to auto? the car still in good condition, able to drive long distance and fly (pecut)... but is it wise to change it to auto gear? and how much would it cost?

the reason i ask is it wise is because a mechanic said that if kancil change too auto gear, it would consume very much more petrol.... although i do know auto car consume more petrol...

Bad scratch accident. lesson learned
I know the handle there need to be painted for sure
but what about the scratches? can it still be polished?

anyway, i would like to know about the price
to paint the handle only if the scratches can be removed by polish
and to paint the whole door.....
want to know the rough estimation so i'll know if the workshop is cutting my neck or not

LLB course structure?

i just want to ask about LLB course again, different from my other topic xD
people keep saying that law must be good in memorizing and dead memorizing....
like memorizing 100 lines of stuffs....

can i know how is it like to study law? i was thinking that it's more about understanding and knowing the conditions and stuffs....
i borrowed a book about introduction to law and it doesn't seems to be like dead-memorizing (死读死忆)
any law students can share experience?

and is HELP university own homegrown law degree good? compared to others like university of london etc....?

FIA > LAW?

I'm currently doing FIA (Foundation in Arts) in Sunway...
I suddenly have the urge to do law (LLB), before I chose to do FIA I thought of continuing in Sunway to do Business Management. My FIA subjects are all about economics...
is it actually possible? i kinda regret now that i should have just do A levels....

and i have NO intention to be a practicing lawyer.... i just want to have a LLB law degree to work in a corporate company and any other related job BESIDES lawyer/advocate/solicitor

so far I asked HELP college, they said if i want to do bar, i would have to do a UK degree transfer.... if not, i could do their own degree-buatan-HELP.....

i'm not sure of KDU (University of London International Programmes LLB 3+0) and Brickfields Asia College (Bachelor of Law) if they "accept" my FIA....

1- any other colleges that is well known to do law or simply just offer law??
2- does most college like KDU and Brickfields Asia College accept my FIA??
3- does a law grad student without barrister (since i have no intention to be a practicing lawyer) have a bright future/prospect? but i do have the plan to do MBA when i hit 26+ or masters of law ...
4- i'm not looking forward for oversea transfer programme as i would either do a 3+0 of there's available (like the one in KDU but unsure if they accept me with my FIA studies).... any other colleges?

Unifi can't go Mobile?

but my mobile phone (not iphone, not bb) can't seems to receive or detect the wifi from the unifi despite its just next to my room

but previously my streamyx it can, with strong signal

anyway know what should i configure? or memang phone cannot one?

I just install Unifi in my house, seems good but it's very very messy when it comes to the wiring.

It said someething about the 15 metres free from the "electric pole", so having no choice my unifi router HAD TO BE PLACED IN MY HOUSE STORE-ROOM upstairs.

which is rather very much disappointing because the store-room is the very very very oddplace to put the modem

and for the hypptv? they installed the 60 metres long wire to connect to my living room tv downstairs AND IT'S STILL NOT ENOUGH.

i just want to know if there is any place i can get an ETHERNET WIRE OF ABOUT 70-80 METERS LONGS? that would at least solve my problem about the wiring to the TV.

and the major problem, is there any "extension" i can make for the modem so i don't have to place it in the store-room? i saw the wire plug there is labelled "OPTICAL" and not sure where i can get the "extension" for this wire

of course i asked if i can place the model downstairs but they said they'll charge us RM400 because it exceed 15 metres. wtf !!!

what is the product/service/etc that is best promoted by posters in terms of flyers/banners/etc but not video advertisement?

any product or service, with an easy EFFECTIVE ADVERTISING by posters of course.

i kinda had property in mind but i don't find it really effective.... what about F&B?

Biz degree @ Sun-U and Masters

Hi there, as some might know, I'm doing FIA in Sunway with marketing and management course.

As for my degree I always thought of doing 3+0 Business management, Lancaster U.
However I saw the "Victoria University Bachelor of Business" which the "stream" that I'm considering is [Financial Risk Management +7 electives which I might taking marketing field]

Actually which path is better? VU or Lancaster? And I wanna do Biz management. I think Lancaster U is more "accurate" and it's university is much more PRESTIGIOUS right? Anyone have idea?

And, after my degree (either VU or Lancaster), I'm planning to do masters as well ASAP.

There are Master in Management (Sunway-Lancaster OR Taylors Lakeside, again, which is better?) which fresh grad can enroll and
MBA (Sunway-Manchester OR Taylors-Bristol, again, which is better?) which requires some working experience.

Actually which would be better in a long-term view?
degree+Master in Management or (1+3+2 years)
degree+MBA or even (1+3+2 years)
degree+Master in Management+MBA (holy mother of God, 1+3+2+2 years of studies!)

FIA vs A-level

Hi there, I'm just going to be very direct here.

I'm a straight A student in SPM science (8A+, 2A) but to be honest I do not have any interest in being in the science line.

I'm more into the business line or maybe law (a slight interest)

I enrolled in Sunway Foundation in Arts (FIA) two weeks ago, majoring in management because of all business line, I want to do management the most.

However, with a lot of point of views threw by the others such as "You're far too good to be wasted in FIA, etc." and blablabla, starting to make me wonder should I change from FIA to A levels? It's like my mindset is totally different now.

In addition, I plan to pursue my education LOCALLY, so I'm only looking university with either local degree or better still, 3+0.

I was thinking of upon finishing FIA, I will do my degree in Sunway University, 3+0 Lancaster University, UK (#4 management school in UK) Business Management.

But I'm afraid that I will change my mind to do a law degree. Not sure if other university can accept me with my FIA background to do law.

Kinda afraid that I will not do well in A levels and planning to do my degree locally, do you think I should change to A levels?

My choice of subject will be Maths, Econs, Law and/or Psychology. Will these 4 subjects be tough for me?

Plus, any recommendation where I can do my law degree? I'm not too confident about HELP since it's doesn't seems to have many subjects, not so sure about KDU.

Long story short,
ate too fast, bite the fork too hard, and heard some small sound, realized it's chipped

how much would i need to pay to fix this? will it look noticeable if its being fixed since i look at the mirror all the time and also a freelance model.

My kaspersky antivirus had been expired for months and it seems like its still protecting me, but it's giving me itches because it's high rem usage as I can see from my window task manager (60k+, avp.exe)

so i'm browsing for some free antiviruses out there and avira seems great as i heard from many of you. 95% detections, etc.

but, from what i saw from the main website, these are the things that is absent.

AntiPhishing proactive protection against phishing
isn't antivirus the most important is to prevent phishing? i mean, internet is a major place to get virus!

AntiVirProActiv detects unknown viruses by their behavior patterns
so? it don't detect if it's some new advanced virus if i use the free one? what's the point of using this antivirus?

WebGuard protection against malicious websites
whoa, isn't most websites dangerous and some popouts that secrets some nasty virus cookies, files?

AntiDrive-by prevents against downloading viruses when surfing
most virus are actually downloaded without the user's knowledge, as far as i know.... again, what's the point if i'm using an antivirus without this features!

is this antivirus, even an antivirus?!?!

KDU Scholarship Condition?!

Hi, I just received letter from KDU after applying for their scholarship.

"Scholarship holder is required to contribute at least two hours per week by participating in the Scholar Assistance-ship of the University College"

Anyone know what does that mean? Does every college also like this??
