Hi, my office consists of 10 PCs (connected via wired Ethernet cable) + 15 other wireless devices.

The problem that we are facing is, the internet connection will be disconnected once every few days. I will have to restart the modem and router to get the connection back. Sometimes I will also have to call TM to reset the port (when there is still no internet after few restart).

May I know what is the possible problem, and how to fix it?

Currently using stock modem & router (black tplink) 300mbps

Hi, I have to make a decision whether to purchase

1) a HP server (to run on Windows Server 2012 Essential) or

2) a Desktop PC (to run on Windows 8 Pro)

About 15 Desktop PCs (for now, not sure whether will increase in future) running on Windows 7 will access the server for Accounting Software (AutoCount) and some shared files.

These are the 2 main purpose of the server, we are not using it to host website, emails, etc.

If possible, please advice me the main difference or advantage the Windows Server 2012 has over the Windows 8 Pro.

Any specific specs required if were to run the Windows 8 Pro smoothly and without any problem?

*How many devices are allowed to access Windows 8 Pro PC at the same time?

[WTA] Dot Matrix VS. Laser Printers

Hi, I have two printers in my company now,
1) Dot Matrix Panasonic KX-1121
2) Lexmark MX710

We have been using the Dot Matrix to print all the invoices and delivery orders but it has been giving alot problems recently, for example, the the spacing is always off.

I would like to ask if I should change and print all the invoices and delivery orders using MX710 instead or replace another Dot Matrix printer.

What are the issues that I should consider? I think that using MX710 should have lower cost (by calculating the cost of paper) and faster.
