Usual scratches present but nothing major, the power button itself is a little bit off due to usage.
Also take note of the top left corner dent front and back which is shown in the pictures.

Phone is locked to softbank Japan, will send the whole set including original box, charger, and of course the phone. Earphones will not be included.

I am hereby writing to lodge a formal complaint regarding your sales assistant in __, tape accessories section. On 17 May 2012 7pm the Malay sales assistant assured me that the tape he reccomended (Item 75460 KIPS Kraft Tape 36mm x 25m, refer to invoice) was suitable to use on wall painting and will not chip the paint off the wall after triple assurance I bought the tape home and stuck it to the wall before painting. However shortly after that I realized it is not easy to remove as he claimed and when I removed it left a tacky surface which damaged my wall.

Upon advice of friends, I have found out the so-called paint-friendly tape this sales person sold me was in fact, unfit to use on painting purposes and walls.

Alongside a few pictures to support my claims:

Here I demand an explanation from __ within 3 working days starting from submitting this form. If I do not receive a reply by end of 23 May 2012 Wednesday 6.00pm I am forced to come personally to the store in ___ , submit a copy of formal complain letter to the media, bringing this issue up to local forums and other alternatives until I have this issue resolved.

Their reply:

In the investigation he stated the following:

a) You were looking for paper-tape for your wall painting job.
b) Unfortunately, such paper-tape was out-of-stock.
c) You were disappointed by the inconvenience, and wanted to see other paper-tape.
d) He pointed out the other type of paper-tape which was “Kraft” and it has a stronger glue and it is used for taping boxes.
e) He unpacked one to show you, and that you tried it and found the glue not too strong.
f) That you opted to purchase it to try.

His statements raised a grave concern to us that he might be offering another version of fact.

We then pressed on further on whether he gave you any assurance as stated by you. He was very adamant that he did not.

He then called you on this matter. He informed us that he tried to explain to you that he merely showed you another type of paper-tape but that you told him that it was him who asked you to buy it.

We take this matter very serious because the material inaccuracy of that transpired between you and him could lead to a conclusion that a deliberate misstatement of facts might have been made for self-interest. If our sales personnel is guilty of such, he would be terminated immediately because we could not and would not tolerate such behavior however good he is.

We started off with an investigation so that we can get to the root of the matter to give you an explanation as demanded by you. But the investigation suggest a potential deliberate misstatement of fact instead of explanation that we could offer you.

At this stage we need to pursue further properly and legally, because if (name here) is terminated on these grounds, and if he pursued this matter in the labour court, we could be guilty of wrongful termination, and parties privy to the matter, like the management who conducted the investigation, may have to be called to be witnesses in the court.

In view thereof, we hope that you could come to meet us and him before we lodge a police report to seek the police to investigate on this matter before we take any action against him.

However if you are unable to, we will make such report and submit your email to the police.

We always strive to give good service to our customers. We cannot and will not tolerate any deliberate misstatement of facts for any particular ulterior motive or self-interest.

Please let us know whether you can come to see us. If you cannot, we will then proceed to make the police report immediately.

We will then update you on any outcome from the police.Thank you and have a nice day

1) Who is the addresser to my mail? Without name and designation? How shall I address you?

2) Are you replying on behalf of Customer Service Dept. or H.R. Dept.?

3) This is a customer complaint and not a criminal case. Why police and legal action are involved? Does you normally resolve their customer complaints using police and legal action as a tool? Do you consider this complaint a criminal case? Please enlighten me.

4) What has the Customer complaint to do with your prerogative to terminate your employee? If you found that your employee had given misleading info to the customer, it is up to the management to decide whether to keep or terminate him after the investigation.

5) In which paragraph of my complaint that I stated that "he told me to buy"? On the phone I said "he told me this would work so I bought it".

6) To reiterate your employee's assurance to me "Ini boleh guna, ini tak lekat, dia tak kuat sangat, tengok?"

7) If you terminate your employee after proper investigation and the management deemed proper within the context of the Employment Ordinance, then you are taking the right move. But what is that do do with customer service? You just have to investigate and give me a reply after the investigation. Be more professional in your job.

8) Why legal action is involved? Did your employee do any thing illegally? If you need to report to the police no one can stop you.

9) Your statement "misstatement for self-interest"

10) To voice our customer frustration would constitute legal action? Any sense?

I was already so frustrated with the products and even more with your customer service attitude! Or maybe my complaint was channeled to a wrong department?

I would suggest you furnish me with the right person to contact so that I would not end up more frustrated.

My main purpose of complaint is not what you said "Misstatement for self-interest" or "any particular ulterior motive". I just want a solution to my damaged wall.

I would not stop you from reporting to the police or take legal action against your employee because that is your company prerogative. How you deal with your employee is your internal affair.
