Macbook and P1 Wimax 4g Wireless Modem Problem

Hi I was wondering if any network gurus out there can help me out.

Recently I upgraded my P1 Desktop Wireless Modem to their new 4G Wireless Modem.

Problem I am facing, each time I do direct download in my Macbook OS X, the speed will go high first then it will drop until like 3.5kpbs and then just dies.

When I do a torrent download, no problem the speed is fantastic.

I tried the same download link in my Windows based laptop, no problem. Speed is good and download is fine.

So the problem may not be with P1 speed as my windows based notebook is good. Is there any settings I need to set in my macbook?

P1 customer/tech help is really no use because they say their only equipped to handle windows based. Mac based their not too sure and got a standard guideline which is no help at all.

Question about P1 and video streaming

I need clarification on a question I got about P1. If I use a media server connected to my PS3 for video streaming via wireless router, does it count towards my P1 20gig fair usage? Previously I was using IZZI so did not need to worry about this. Any gurus out there that can help with my doubt.
