Hi,
I plan to get 32 inch LCD TV as my PC monitor, it's mainly for games and movies purpose, I'm currently Using Sapphire radeon HD5870 1GB (Specs), so i wan to know about the picture quality/performance coz i didn't get much information from forum and youtube. If it can bring good gaming experience i want to get one (currently only using 20 inch LEDD). One more thing if you guys can suggest brand/model really appreciate that =)

CPU Fan so loud

My CPU fan make a very loud noise either running programs or idle. I use AMD phenom X4 and ATI HD5870(sapphire). You can see my temp on the pic attached. I already confirmed the sound come from the CPU fan not others. Weird thing is when i change the graphic (with Sapphire nvidia GT210) the fan noise almost gone.
Maybe there's a way to tweak this but i think i want to get a new CPU cooler, so i really hope u guys can suggest a good cooler for my CPU (budget around RM250 - and it is not liquid cooler)

so here is my initial suggestion, hope expert, gurus here can help me to rebuild the list, or even a new list. my fren and i going to build tis this sunday.

GPU : SAPPHIRE 7870 RM1059
CPU : Intel CORE I7 2600 RM879
RAM : 8GB kingston DDR3 1333 RM 140
PSU : CORSAIR AX GOLD SERIES 850W (M) RM699
HDD : 1TB WD SATA 3 CAVIAR BLUE RM274

CASE : COOLER MASTER RC692 ADVANCE USB3 RM329

SSD : mushkin CHRONOS SATA III RM429
Speaker : ill wsearch for woffer like edifier value rm+/- 100
mosue/ keyorad : dunno should go for gaming or nomal one, for noe i put rm100 for this.

rafly overall total is 5.2K

but, i afraid about the stability (brand and combination, compatibility between hardware), and i believe there are much better way to build the list with this budget.

radeon 6950 2GB vs 560TI vs 6850/69870

So few days before i decide to get one of them
(6850, 6870, 6950, 560TI)

here my specs:
processor: athlon X II 3.0Ghz (i know it's crap ill upgrade to fx later)
ram: 16GB ddr3 1333mhz
hdd : 120GB SSD + 500GB wd + 500GB samsung
mobo: GA-970A-D3
psu: cooler master Gx550
current graphic : gt210 (64 bit, sigh)
(simply my desktop blown, got new one last month, and no onboard graphic, just get some cheap temporary graphic)

What i want:
-dual monitor (20 inch) (resolution max for one monitor 1600X900)
-play cod and battlefield
-not easily overheat gpu (who use one of those do let me know the temp)

for now i will go for 6850/6870 (depend on the price when i arrive at the shop), i hope it not a mistake.
or should i pick the other (6950 2GB, 560Ti or any other card that u guys think better than my choice)

my budget is flexible (say for now 800 for gpu, but for good thingy i can korek2), but if i can save budget on this one i can use it to get decent processor this month and dun have to wait for nxt month. (maybe fx6100 instead of fx4100)

So i have this Compaq cq40-127 and just bought it few days back, the hard disk make a strange sound and the sound not from the speaker but from the hard disk itself, when i went to the shop the dude tested the hdd and said the hdd still healthy, the problems is i dont want that noisy sound, i think it will corrupt anyway and even it is not, i think the shop should fix the sound caused from the hdd, because just bought it for rm2100 and i deserve a good laptop, good condition with that sound not satisfied me. So what should i do here, i will went t lowyat again this mornin, and i dont want the dude play trick on my friends again just t avoid fixing the laptop.any suggestion guyz...help me p lz

Ok, now i need to buy a laptop for gaming especially, i dunno which to choose, i look at this one ACER ASPIRE 4935G, and i dont know about the Graphic, i mean i only know about nvdia but this notebook use Intel X4500, so if we compare it to nvdia, what is the level? nvdia8600 maybe? i jsut hope it can play call of duty 4 and other heavy game smoothly, budget highest = RM2700 (free dos or with OS, either OK with me)

I am a chemistry and mathematics student, my basic only html and javascript. My part time job is repairing laptop and desktop, i know few code to use on command prompt, know little bit about regedit and tweaking task manager including tweaking explorer.exe. Maybe my skill still beginner but i'm very intersted to create my own antivirus and tweaking windows software. I don't know what basic should i have to create software. i'm inspired by mohd kamil who creator to the Portable Antivirus.
I look at any software installer there are several files with .ini, bin, inf, Do i need to learn how to use linux or c++, my brother is a software engineer but we never talk about this stuff(you know, the big bro, hahaha,). don't matter hoew hard the pathc i don't care. I'm really tired remove the autorun worm manually, just wasting my time for rm10. If i can create my own software then it will do my job, i don't want to get headache by just waiting and staring at the monitor.

external hard disk

i have a 80gb seagtae hard disk. I buy an external cable to make it sa the external hardisk(ide to usb cable with power supplier). My OS is win xp sp2.
The problems is when i plug the usb cable my computer can't detect the hard disk. it shows that there are usb storage detected but can't find appropriate driver for it.
what should i do
additional info:
-USB 2.0 (PCI slot)
_via mainboard
-1.8gb processor
-768 RAM

i already tested with my friend's laptop(OS vista but still same results, the computer didn't detect the drives.

acer aspire 4520 problems

i have an acer aspire 4520, after i used patition magic to create new partition from c:/ , but after restarting the blue screen appear, it was like thiss the screen appear to choose:

safe mode
last configuration that work
start windows normally

i already try all of the option but it didn,t work. just the blue screen appear. Do i need to do something with the bios or anthing else?
