Can Malaysia make a change in social media?

Do you guys think that a country like Malaysia, often used as a laughing stock worldwide by some of the things said by our local politicians or things that flash across the local headlines.. can make a change in obtaining stronger moral values for the future generation?

With 13million Facebook users headstrong (13 million users Statistics), ideally, it doesn't much of an impossible task to achieve such a target in a numbers game. Yet, based on the same source as well, the top 5 most liked fan pages are based on corporate which owns tonnes of cash and resources to mobilize their marketing and garner likes to themselves. The top 3 has already surpassed the 1 million mark in Malaysia alone. A NGO organization would face much tougher obstacles and challenges.. anytime compared to these examples.

I seek the opinions and advice of the you dear lowyat forum users, and if you too believe in such a cause for the children, perhaps we establish to the world that Social media can always be used for a good cause instead of constant reinforcement of narcissism and corrosion of moral values?

Heys guys, just a video I made on my own productions to create some awareness on the mentally challenged. Would like to know what you guys think about the message and have some constructive feed back to make better videos in the future!

Just some comments from my own

That word is used pretty often nowadays to describe almost anything. Whether it's say how silly, how stupid or how hilarious that something is, people will just call it retarded.

Question is - Don't you think it's rather insensitive to those who are mentally challenged as well for those who are close to them?

Appearing in different ways, whether through a hanging out session, Facebook wall post or even a birthday surprise - It still boils down back to the heart. Grasping the fact that we have a mind that is well and good, should we behave in an ungrateful manner by making fun of the mentally challenged (although not intentionally at times)?

Let us not be reckless in our thoughts - make a change!

On the production side of things, once more, credits to the Evelyn and Wen-li for offering their place to shoot the scenes as well as Subway at Taman Tun (if you recognize where it was)!

Being pretty new to the camera, I understand that they're acting may not be superb but I'd say it's a good attempt nonetheless. With proper sharpening of skills along the way, I believe they can be really good at this! "

If you're wondering whether you can reserve your spot for registration before the 20th December, yes you can.
