(Matlab) Non numerical values calculation

Dear all,

I am wondering whether is it possible for me to perform the following calculation via Matlab?
In the command window, if I type
--------------------------------------
a*a

Matlab will return

ans =

a^2

--------------------------------------
if I type

a+a

Matlab will return

ans =

2a

--------------------------------------
just to clarify, 'a' is just an example. It can simply be any non numerical character.
currently, I will only get "Undefined function or variable 'a'. expression.

MS Access 2013 Generate Reference Number

Dear all,

I am currently learning MS Access 2013 and would like to ask your help regarding how to auto reference number for my form.

The format are as attached.

As is the attachment, my primary key is Column "No".
all of these are in single table.

Is is possible for me to create the auto-generated "Reference Number" column?

Please advise.

Good day everyone!

i am a learner based on example, and currently, i cant find any helpful example in the internet for my topic..

1.how can i get the position of my mouse cursor anywhere in the client area? i am using WM_LBUTTONDOWN, and manage to display message box saying
"LEFT CLICK".. but i actually wanted to display the coordinate of the place when i clicked in text form..
2. and how to display it as a child window, let say on bottom left of my client area?

I would be very grateful if someone can give me the example of the working code as reference...

Got current shock when touch lower part of laptop

This things never happen before, and it's just start yesterday. when i touch the lower part of my laptop (ACER aspire 4920 ; position is front side, under the audio hub), i experienced current shock.... after that i try to put it on my cooler pad (aluminium aloi), it conduct on it and i also experienced current shock when touched my cooler.. after that i switched off the plug, and try to pull out the power supply, got shocked again the i touched my laptop power suppy connector (at my laptop, not the switched on wall)... anybody know any solution? i usually touch these places before, but never experiencing any of this.... this is the first time, and i experiencing 4 times in these 2 day..... thank you....

cant surf some certain website

MY friend having a problem to surf the webpage that are related to msn and hotmail and some other webpage
like download.com. cant seems to access these files. and cant log in msn. but other website like yahoo can
surf. firewall already are disabled. using ie 7.

i already tried the solution(for windows live messenger) from the page
i googled, but still cannot log into mesengger. it is the error 81000306.

the hotmail pages cant surf at all. but if i using ultrasurf to surf, i can surf the hotmail.

can someone teach me how to solve these probs? she using dell desktop with windows vista home basic. thx

hei everyone.... i was wonder if anyone can solve my problems..

there are certain time my firefox,google chrome and internet explorer cannot surf the internet.... i cant even access my router...i using maxis broadband, and i cant even access my ZTE modem.. its juz suddenly happen...

Example:
"Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at 192.168.X.X"
or
"Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at www.yahoo.com"

when this things happen i need to wait for a few minutes until i can browse back... or another option is for me to reboot my laptop...

when these things happen, my internet didnt disconnect bcoz my xunlei still downloading... and i still can use MSN....

also, the other computer that shares the same router with me still can surf the web like usual, only i cannot......

i am using windows vista ultimate......

suddenly my network type change to GPRS

Hi everyone,

i have a problem here.. i currently using maxis broadband RM68 per month package, and i using ZTE MF600 Modem... The problem is, when i downloading torrent, my network type will changes from UTMS to GPRS...This will happen only if i downloading torrent.. The problem only started to happen few days ago, is it there any solution to this problem???
