Recomendation of usb wifi adapter

Now i use atheros built in wifi adapter for Laptop
someone told me the atheros more strong reception than intel wifi adapter

the location is usm at my room 3rd floor, when i use during the day it is very hard to get even 1 signal bar

at the night i got 2-3 bar then i need to wait until 2 a.m above to get a enough signal

Question is should i get the external wifi adapter?

after i do a research at the web i think want to buy Linksys adapter WUSB54G with antena

i just got my asus mobo P5Q after send it to RMA once, then my friend said to me that if if i want to send it to RMA, asus will charge me for that even my mobo still got 2 years waranty, is that true??

but i cannot do so...because it said the folder where the user account is placed is not accessible..

change and install new mobo or change and reformat the windows

coz i already install the mobo then i feel that my comp running slow
and also my cpu temp more higher from my previous foxconn mobo

I was required to undergo industrial training for at least 10 weeks. (Starting from May)
I really hope that I can obtain internship at the companies which are located at Selangor & KL.

I'm a mechanical engineering students. I'm currently on my third year of studies at a local university.
I was required to undergo an industrial training for 3 months, start from May to August 2008.
Basically, right now I'm looking for any companies that are related with mechanical engineering!
Maybe u guys can help me or at least recommend suitable companies based on my study field.
