Hi there, my younger brother just got his SPM result back recently, and duh, as per title ... Just enough 5 credits but not inclusive of Maths. Found that most courses (diploma and degree) require at least 5 credits including Maths, is this true? What are the other options? He was only offered Multimedia Diploma in TARC as probably that's the only courses that doesn't require maths skills.

My other siblings never had this dilemma because we always study, this fella...

Any input would be much appreciated.

Now that i'm changing telco, it is still launching digi's software everything the modem is plugged in. How do I make it detect the new one?

I am moving to Australia next month with my partner, and will most probably set up another HSBC bank account there. I already have a local HSBC account. One thing that keeps bugging me, I need to send money home every few months to my parents, and I'm wondering if anyone knows the charges incurred? I can't seem to find any information online.

Any help would be very much appreciated.
Sending Boxes overseas

Hello, we're in the midst of migrating, and we have lots to send back to Australia (since AirAsia's luggage allowance is only 20kilos).

The issue is, we have a lot of LCD screens, about 6 to 7 that needs to be shipped back by sea (monitors are for personal use, not for sale or anything... hehe). Plus lots of electronic stuff, LAN cables, modems, etc basically our life! Wondering, if this will cause any issue with the customs on both countries? Previously, we flew with AirAsia and took 5 monitors with us without any trouble at all. Any input will be appreciated. And, does Pos Malaysia accepts credit card?

I read that the boxes need to have a specific measurement, but when i went to the main POS near Pasar Seni, the lady said only the weight matters. Which one is true? And must be wrapped in brown paper? (saw them selling though).

Help would be greatly appreciated

Found this link though : http://www.pos.com.my/pos/services/posmel/...ail/parcel.aspx

Means the address area can stick an envelope on it instead of wrapping it whole in brown? And what does the insurance limit means?

And they didn't mention about forbidden items.

My old T61 IBM laptop suddenly gave this problem last night. The screen will suddenly go black including the external monitors hooked to it (3 external screens), and then the laptop LCD screen has white horizontal lines flickering (not on external). Once i reboot, the problem will come back after a while... Any idea what's wrong? No pink hue/tinge. It just goes black with white lines.

WTA Body Check-up

Hello there. Lately I've been falling sick very easily. Last weekend I passed out while hiking at Bukit Nanas, it is not even hiking, just trails to follow and few steps here and there. It wasn't sunny and in fact, pretty overcast. But once I reach the base of KL Tower (30 mins after going through trails from St John's), i started to lose my vision and ears buzzing. 5 mins later, while looking for a place to sit, i passed out for a few seconds.

Now I have sore throat, flu and body aches after recovering from slight temperature on Monday.

Sadly to say, I still went to work on my MC days and decided to go for a body check up at GH. I wonder how much it would cost since my company does not cover those fees

p/s: I'm very prone to migraines and ex-state athlete.

Well, the mistake doesnt make changes to my total tax, just that i inserted the amount for the tax relief into the wrong column.
FedEx (Delivery exception)

So, i was expecting a package today after keeping up with the tracking system online. At first it says On FedEx vehicle for delivery (Location: KOTA DAMANSARA MY), so i thought it is on its way... I went back home early, and still no package or people ringing on my door, checked the tracking, still the same. It was 6pm then. Around 7pm, i got an email notification that says Delivery exception - Customer not available or business close. Huh, so i called up FedEx and asked for explanation. The guy said nobody was home, and i said, I was home all the time and there's nobody calling up my apartment (I live in a service apartment, the lobby will call if there's people or package downstairs). I got fairly pissed. I told him, i want it to be delivered tomorrow. He double confirmed my address and contact, it was correct. Wow, even POS LAJU calls me when there's nobody at home just to make sure sometimes! That's why my contact info is there

Now, did the guys really did come over or cos they couldn't find my apartment and updated the status as that since it was already 6.45pm when they clocked in the status. This is my first time using FedEx as previously it was UPS and some other courier services that would call me to check if I am home.
