Hi all.

I'm stuck in the configuration of leased line connection in Juniper SSG5.
I'm only given the LAN & WAN IP from Jaring.
LAN IP : 202.xxx.xxx.xxx/28
WAN IP : 161.xxx.xxx.xx5
Kindly guide me step by step on how to configure the SSG 5 to be able to use the leased line connection.

I have tried to test with my laptop by applying the following:

IP Address: 161.xxx.xxx.xx6
Subnet Mask:255.255.255.240
Gateway: 161.xxx.xxx.xx5

DNS: 202.xxx.xxx.xxx

Only Skype is working while there is no connection when I open any web pages using different web browsers.

Please help me

Hi, guys.

I need your advice on which service provider is good in Dedicated Internet Access (DIA). My office is located at IGB International Industrial Park, Ipoh. I plan to switch from TM SDSL 1.5Mbps to dedicated leased line due to the unstable service and cable theft. Also, the strong ligtning will affected our SDSL 1.5Mbps services.

I have contacted TIME and too bad TIME don't have coverage in Perak yet. I have also contacted TM & Jaring for their Dedicated leased line packages but I wish to know what other service provider that provides DIA services in Ipoh.

Kindly recommend some good plans available (price, speed, reliability) and testimonials if any. Thanks

Hi, all.

I wish to know if anyone know how to do the automated external backup of DVR. I want to backup for 3 months video for 16 channels & 9 channels DVR. The existing HDD that built in the DVR can only support for 15 days for the 16 Channels DVR and 20 days for the 9 Channels DVR.

I check from the Internet and get to know that some of the CCTV DVR model comes with automated off-site backup. I am not sure whether the model I have got this features or not:

CCTV H.264 DVR 1 Model: Cynics 16 Channels with 2TB HDD (16 cameras)
CCTV H. 264 DVR 2 Model: Cynics 9 Channels with 1TB HDD (6 cameras)

I plan to put another external HDD for the automated backup but not sure how to do on that. Anyone out there can share your opinions on how to do automated external backup.

Can't access to my DVR via Public IP

Hi all.

My company just installed a new CCTV DVR (H.264 DVR). It can be accessed through LAN but I can't access it at home.
The IP for this CCTV is 192.168.2.252:88. I have already set port forwarding for 192.168.2.252 and also registered DDNS at www.dlinkddns.com.
I managed to access to the main page of the DVR but I can't login to it. It says Connect Failed but when I login using the same password in the office, it can be connected successfully.

DVR: H.264 DVR
Firewall: Juniper SSG5

Kindly share some ideas why I can't connect to the DVR via WAN.

I just installed a new DVR in the company and I don't know how to do port forwarding to view the CCTV at home. I have already registered a DDNS at www.dyndns.com but I don't know how to do port forwarding for Juniper SSG5. Now, I can only connect to the CCTV via LAN.

Anyone here know how to do port forwarding on Juniper SSG5?

I got a new Acer Iconia Tab A501 and I wish to transfer some pictures and music files to my USB drive. Anyone here know how to transfer data from Iconia Tab to a pendrive? It can read the files in the pendrive but I can't find any options for me to move or copy the files to pendrive. I try to ask the Acer center but the technician also don't know how to do it

Webcam missing & DVD ROM problem

Hi all.

I got a Dell XPS M1330 and just replaced a refurbished mobo. After that, my webcam went missing and my DVD Rom sometimes can read cds but sometimes can't. It will said I/O device error. Is this cause by the technician didn't fix the cables well? or it is nothing related with the refurbished mobo?

I have already called Dell Customer Service and they told me that it is not related with the motherboard and he said sometimes Dell DVD Rom is abit sensitive to read cds or the cds got crashes. I told him that previously I don't have this type of problem that he say it is hardware failure and will sent me a quotation on the DVD ROM and webcam. If that is the case then better I go and buy a new laptop than repairing the old one because the price of repairing is almost the same that I get a new one. (Motherboard price + service charge + Webcam + DVD ROM)

Anyone here please share with me.

I just bought a Samsung Galaxy W and can't receive any MMS from it recently. I was told to on the bluetooth to receive the MMS and click download to download the pictures but to no avail. The picture still haven't download after 2 days.

Can anyone here please tell me how to receive MMS via Samsung Galaxy W?

Wireless Security Settings

I have some problems in configuring my TP-Link TL-WA801ND wireless security. It works fine when I disable the wireless security but I don't want to expose it to public.

First, I try to use WEP shared key, 128bits but it written not recommended for 802.1n and I got limited and no connectivity. Then I try to use WPA/WPA2 but it says "Windows was unable to find the certificate to log you on to the network" when I try to connect to the AP. I found in the Internet telling that this can be fixed by unchecking the Enable IEEE 802.1x authentication for this network box but I can't uncheck the box as it is disable.

What is the Radius server?

After that, I try to use WPA-PSK, AES to secure my AP but still I can get through the connection.

Anyone here please tell me how to set the wireless security of TP-Link TL-WA801ND?

Hi all.

I just bought a new wireless access point, TP-Link TL-WA801ND and try to configure it but to no avail.

My network structure will be like this:

Modem (124.82.XX.XX)

Router (192.168.2.241)

Switch

Wireless AP (192.168.2.200)

Network LAN Configuration
Type: Static IP
IP Address: 192.168.2.200
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 192.168.2.241

Wireless Settings
Operation Mode: Access Point
Enable Wireless Radio
Enable SSID Broadcast

Wireless Security
WPA-PSK

After I did the above steps, I connect the LAN port of TP-link to the LAN port of my switch. Then, switch on the wireless of my laptop and try to connect to TP-link but not successful. It did not show any error messages..just stop suddenly while connecting to the tp-link.

Anyone here please guide me on how to set up the wireless access point
