Rock Climbing belaying using 2 people?

Hi everyone, I'm not sure whether there's any rock climbers here. I've just started climbing about 3 months ago, going for my first outdoor adventure next week in Gua Musang. Problem is I'm quite heavy at 106kg, and it's difficult to find a belayer for me. Yesterday I was belayed by someone half my weight, and when I've finished the route and let go, the guy was sent flying and actually passed me. If it wasn't for others who grabbed the other end of the rope, he would have been sent to the anchor and then it would have been an awkward situation and he would have to rappel himself down.

Outdoors there wouldn't be any weight bags. One of my friends mentioned that it is possible to belay using 2 people, I'm just having trouble trying to wrap my head around that idea. Any sifus here know how it is done?

How to counter dwindling interest in music?

Or just about anything in life, when you get busy, or you have a new hobby, you tend to sacrifice your old passion for it. Been playing music for about 15 years now, and suddenly lost my passion for it. Even not much interest in buying new gears. Playing in a band helps keep it alive, but I barely have time to practice anymore. I remember last time I was so excited to learn all kinds of Children of Bodom songs and shred like YJM or PG, now when I pick up my guitar I just play some short riffs and that's about it. No more interest in learning new songs.

Taking grade 8 violin exam this May, and I don't even have the motivation to practice much for it. Getting worried that I'll be like my friends soon, selling off their guitars as time goes by. I'm not even married yet so it would probably get worse when I have a family.

WTS Hardwire Valve Distortion & a China Strat

I've got 3 things to sell:

1) Digitech Hardwire Valve Distortion. Now this is a truely awesome distortion pedal, it really does sound like a tube amp, no kidding mate. Matches closely with the sound of my Krank, so it's more Marshally kinda sound. There is a switch to toggle between Crunch and Saturated mode, so you'll get different levels of gain and tone between each mode. Yes it's true bypass, built like a tank too. Selling for RM300 FIRM.

2) Ibanez Distortion Charger. I don't know much about this pedal, not really my kind of sound. Typical 90's distortion, something like a DS-1. Battered condition, but works beautifully, Made in Japan. Selling for SOLD.

3) Finlay Strat. Just a generic strat, but surprising plays well, action quite low. Got this from a friend but I've never used it before, never even tried plugging it in. I think it's brand new as there are no scuffs on it. Comes with a well padded gig bag. Selling for RM350 FIRM.

Mint condition ESP LTD EC1000. This is the highest level for LTD below the signature series. About as good as an ESP. About 4 years old i think, helping a friend selling his guitar. Barely any scratch, just some oxidation on the hardware. The guy barely even plays it as he has quit guitars and started a hobby on Italian motorcycles instead. Specs are:

Mahogany neck and body with binding
Mother of pearl fret inlays
24 frets
Seymour Duncan 59 on neck, JB on bridge
Locking Tuners
Made in Korea

6th Gen Ipod Classic 80GB for sale. There are some scratches of course, but I did try to keep it at a minimum. The back condition is not too bad as what you normally see. Battery life is still very good. No box, comes with a PDAir leather case and the sync cable. Bugera V5 Tube Amp

Heavily upgraded Bugera V5 for sale. It fixes all the troubles of the previous Bugera V5. Upgraded parts are:

1) Speaker : Changed to Celestion Eight 15. Speaker itself was RM250. Much brighter and open compared to stock one. Can provide the old speaker too if you want it

2) Tubes : Swapped with JJ 12AX7 for preamp and Mullard EL84 for power amp tube. Super smooth blues overdrive

3) Treble Bleed Mod : Modded according to the schematic provided here. Capacitors were added to the gain and volume knob so you won't lost that chime when dialled down.

Always wanted a Breitling Navitimer but not willing to spend that RM22k? Well here's the solution for you. I'm selling a Rotary Chronospeed. It looks exactly like a Navitimer, at 1/50 of the price. It even has a working slide rule, how awesome is that? It's a quartz chrono with what i suspect is a japanese movement. They're selling for USD400 on ebay, but I'm only asking for RM400 slight nego. Very very slight scratch on the screen, but it's almost impossible to see even when you're looking directly at it.

Comes with a black leather band, along with its original brown leather band, and also the box, manual and packaging.

In excellent condition, almost scratchless. There's a small chip at the bottom as can see in the picture.

7 string, mahogany body with quilted maple top, 26.5" scale, Mother of Pearl inlay, Rosewood fretboard. D shaped neck.

Mods/Setups done:
1. Full setup with frets levelled. Currently strung with D'Addario Nickel Wound 9-52.
2. Pickup change.
Neck pickup: Seymour Duncan 59
Bridge Pickup: Dimarzio Tonezone
3. Copper shielding, includes the pickup cavity.
4. Push-pull pot rewired to parallel sound for neck pickup.
5. Treble bleed mod so no loss of tone when volume rolled down.
6. Bridge straighten as TOM bridges normally bends after a couple of years.

Guitar about 4-5 years old. Made in Indonesia. I think it's a very versatile guitar with the pickup selection.

Bought it new from Yamaha Music School about 9 years ago. Very well taken care off, but yeah there are still some scratches and dings, but no serious ones.

It has a matte finish so you won't get fingerprints. Laminated spruce top, meranti back and sides, rosewood fretboard. I've also installed gold plated machine heads so it looks nice and classy. The fretboard looks dark and ebonylike since I regularly use fret conditioner on it.

I think the sound is quite nice for a laminated top. It has aged pretty well, but yeah the sound is already as far as it goes for laminated top. It comes with a well padded gigbag.
