Hey guys,

For all musicians out there, let's share the knowledge about your pedals for you instruments! (I don't know if this thread is a redundant thread, do let me know if I need to delete this )

Current humble pedals setup for my guitar:

MAXIS LAUYA SERVICES - Again!

Hi Guys,

Firstly, the purpose of this sharing is to share my bad experience dealing with Maxis and being one of the "victim" of a totally crappy service that might be the same as yours as well.

THE SITUATION
On 22nd June 2015, I was walking pass onto Maxis booth (opposite Maybank) @ subang perdana and bumped by one of the Maxis sales rep and he showed me the latest package for Maxis Broadband that offered the user an internet plan with the most "attractive" offer is that the package itself comes with NO CONTRACT terms. So, I have signed up after few conversation with him (Maxis rep) and I have being throwing the same question over and over again about contract and he says it is 100% NO CONTRACT. Attached together the picture of the receipt given by the Sales rep.

After a certain period, I found out the plan I'm taking are not suitable since the internet is too slow compared to other service provider that I'm using on mobile. So, I have decided to stop using and terminate the plan. Surprisingly when I walk into the service centre on August 2016, the customer service rep was telling me 360 degree version story which the plan I have taken comes with a contract and if I want to proceed with the termination I have to PAY! the penalty charges! THIS IS TOTALLY CRAP! I was pissed off since what I have been convinced by the Maxis Sales Rep that as a user I can terminate the plan anytime since I have payed the RM150 deposit (consist of RM100 wireless broadband modem and RM10 will be rebated on monthly basis for 5 month to the sum of RM50) but I have been CHEATED and now there are saying my account was on a contractual basis! WTF!

As a user, the whole scenario was totally unexpected, I have not been able to find my prove on the spot (receipt & brochure from the Maxis sales rep) and bring the documentation together so it ends up in frustration and anger since I have no prove to show since the prove of the "attractions" which I believe is missing. And, they (Maxis) chasing for payment starts.

I keep on receiving a call from their Credit Department (I guess) for the outstanding payment that apparently I delayed for... WTF again.. I ask for termination they say got pelnaty. I dont use it but still they charge me. (the reason why is because I have no interest to use the plan and that is why I want to terminated the plan but I cant! - contractual basis which is being told NEVER EXIST FROM THE BEGINNING!!)

So the account being unpaid since Oct 2016 till today and the total of the sum is RM 150.95. Surprisingly, I have just received a "legal firm" notice from them and seeking for me to pay the sum of RM350.96 + Legal Fees of RM100 + additional 1.5% interest per month from Oct 2016 until the date of full settlement. This is totally unacceptable! and guess what, luckily I have found the prove of purchase (the receipt & brochure) and that is my main reason to share with you my experience for being one of the "victim" of this lousy services! What will I am going to do next? Will share to you once I have walk in (again) in their centre with the prove that I have attach for your information.

- Took offer for mobile internet with no contract (as said by Maxis sales rep)
- After 1 year ++ internet konection like shibai
- Decided to terminate konection & wented to Maxis
- Maxis say got pelnati with Freekick.
- I kenot tahan & look for resit & brochure with prove written "NO KonLANtract"
- Maxis hire lawyer wan to saman me
- Total owed vs saman value not same and overcas.
- Founded my resit & brochure
- Tomollow go diu kaw Maxis

inb4 tldr version:
CONCLUSION
- Going to Maxis centre
- Straight away request to seek Manager
- Waited for almost 1 hour
- Finally meet the Manager and explain everything (from day 1 till now - together with the "hardcopy")
- The manager explain : No Contract = return back the modem and no penalty (I wonder where Maxis stated in the contract or brochure??)
- Ask back Manager : Why not stated or explain earlier?? Even when i walk in the centre (August 2016) nobody was explaining to me? Bcoz I dont bring any prove ya?? Manager reply : We are sorry about that. Thats the situation and they (other centre) also should explain you further.
- Ask about the Outstanding Payment and he said no worries sir, you account has been fully deactivated on May 2016 and after that we have not charges you. You just have Outstanding amount till May (RM 150+)
- Manager : I can help you to waive the penalty + legal fees + interest. You just have to return back the Modem + Outstanding amount RM 150+
- Paid to them. And things resolved.

So, to all of the members here that being supportive, giving opinion, comments, harsh & sibai words, you guys are helpful in your own ways. Whichever Telcos that you preferred is your own decision. Everyone have their own experience that I am sure different from one and another.
I am sharing my experience just to share and for a friendly reminder so you guys can always alert and avoid any "fishy" offers no matter where you are, what you're dealing with, who you dealing with. Things might happen to you guys in future (who knows?) So dont get me wrong. I have "shared" my experience here so you guys can atleast aware on the situation that might happen/not in your future.

Any fans out there knows where the ENERGIE boutique changed to? Last time, there were two boutique in Malaysia, one in Suria KLCC another one is in Mid Valley..The MV boutique has been closed if I'm not mistaken on mid-2010. And what really shocked me, the Suria KLCC also have been changed to other boutique....

What is actually happen actually?? Its damn sad knowing one of the high-end street ware will be dissapper from our country...
