Did some random search regarding this method and found out oversea already implement this method. ( pu floating method but unsure about another method - claim they used chemical to matikan the soil)
But very difficult to find other malaysia company do this.

Any experts opinion??

plaster ceiling estimated cost

Hello lyn member. Need help regarding cost of this plaster ceiling design (attachment below)

Picture from Some IG and my wife want design almost like this for our house

Currently try to contact some plaster ceiling company but 80% of them not willing to do at our area (maybe too far)

So i got quotation from one company (MKK Rekabina).
-Estimated cost RM7000
-Around 500 SQFT ( living and dining area)
-include wiring
- i think not include hacking if need new switch or plug
- +rm 450 for 3hp cassete aircond installation

Ill try to find other quotation also but is 7k normal for this type of work?

Renovation area crack.. is there any way to solve?

My reno complete already ( can see my previous post) but unfortunately nightmare occur already 😰😰

1. Part of the wall crack, already fix during 1 month warranty period ( repair several times since it occur 2 to 3 times at the same time after repair)
2. Crack still occur after warranty finish and occur at same spot
3. Contractor registered with cidb
4. We got into arguement since he just said the crack is surface only(block my number already)
5. Type of repair done
a. Hack a bit and plaster back
b. Hack and put cement inside
( Crack occur despite use both method)

My questions :
1. Can i take law action to the contractor?
2. If yes, which channel should i choose? Tribunal? Cidb board? Kpkt?
3. Should i hire civil engineer to assess the problem first ?

** Not sure about the cost but im willing to spend some money if its possible

(Need Advice) Crack due to neighbor major reno

Hi all, need advice regarding this

1. new house corner lot ( 2 years warranty ). I did kitchen extension already (to the back and side). Already ask the developer to repair all the crack b4 reno. This one actually PKNS project and i just realize that the area is soft (all the house got crack here and there). After reno, the old crack comeback. Ask the developer and they said since we did extension, warranty void ald. Is it true? i try check with the snp, not mention anything like this and obviously all the house there got this kind of problem. Can see the longkang crack and the garage also tenggelam. Any legal advice regarding this?

2. After my reno finish, my neighbor (4 house from me and corner also) did majo reno. Kaw Kaw punya reno with all the heavy machinery to install the terusuk. Got message from developer to report to Majlis Daerah if crack occur. Maybe they want to put the blame to the owner?? what do you guy think

3. Aside from the the crack, the developer still repair other defect. Example hollow tiles, leakage at bathroom.

4. I saw my neighbour house only stand on the piling foundation (since he pecah all the garage alrady and can see what happen below the foundation structure). Below that already hollow. Is it normal? Will try to take picture later

5. the road in front of my house also a bit mendap. the road like "tinggi bahagian tengah and rendah sebelah bahu jalan) When i drive out from garage, sure sangkut skirting depan. (Standard car only). Ask contractor and they said this one need to report Majlis. is it true this one majlis responsibility or developer?

Question on Range cooker user experience

Hi all, i`m in dilemma to choose between normal hob or the standing stove ( some call them range cooker?? 🤔)

I can see those range cooker has normal and professional version and the price can go up to 40k 😅 depends on the brand

Anyone had any experience with these cooker? Currently eyeing on:

1.elba brand (professional) = rm 4300++
2. Elba brand (normal ) = rm 2000++
3. IKA Brand = anyone used before??

Renovation works: Kitchen extension (major)

After that, I contact several house inspection companies to get quotation. Price given range from RM 400 to 1k+. Some use Qlassic standard (more expensive)

7.12.2019
- I choose House Defect Inspection (HDI) from facebook. They charge RM 400 and send 2 people to check the house. Report given in 1 week.

Impression : Ok lah, the cheapest and make my job easier.

Between December 2019 – February 2020
- Engage PKNS Contractor. Took almost 1 month plus to settle all complain. Direct engage with the PKNS Contractor instead of their worker.
- get quotation from several companies for renovation
- send letter to PKNS to get the detail house layout (VERY Detail)

- Job scope : extend kitchen to the back and left (original size around 9x9 to 22x 18)
- Quotation given from 44k to 70k (higher price for Indo)

Sharing Experience->extended warranty Sony Z5

I just want to Share with u all regarding Extended warranty for my Sony Z5 premium dual

i already send my sony 4 time to service center (2 during 1 year sony warranty and another 2 during extended warranty)

All need to change motherboard

At first i thought that 2 years extended warranty mean the warranty will cover for two years and under sony BUT the two years actually under AEON.

AND most important thinsg you need to know are:
1. warranty not cover for waterproof and battery
2. there is a limit how much you can repair

In my case, i exceed my limit already. Need to change motherboard again for the 4th time and credit limit only have 1.3k and total cost repair around 1.5k. So there are two option given to me by Ixsun Service center:

1. topup the differences (around rm 200)
2. u can select different model (Sony Only) and Aeon will use all the credit limit to buy the new phone
(ex : i have 1.3k credit limit left and i choose new sony phone cost 1.5k. Just topup the differences to get the new phone)

For me, i choose the second option HOWEVER they still need to contact AEON first to get their approval.

So now, im waiting for their decision

TODAY Lesson --> 2 years extended warranty is not exactly two years however it is good to have this extended warranty in case your motherboard always die like mine

UPDATE AGAIN TODAY --> they agreed to topup model. So i choose xperia xa1 plus and no need to pay anything (though burn rm80 since limit is higher than phone price )

AND het one more year warranty under sony ( not extended) since it is a new phone
