Account locking

Just a quick question here... do you guys keep getting auto-locked for 'unusual access patterns' when using streamyx? I usually get 175.1xx and the system keeps locking me out and i have to reset the password like at least once or twice a week. This is really annoying.

Car loan question

Hi.. just a quick question to any loan experts here... If I take say, a 7 year car loan and after sometime(but before 7 years), I settle the full amount of the loan, will there be any penalty? Ie. do I have to settle the principal + the full interest for the entire 7 years, or just pay off the remaining balance?

Thanks.

[WTA] Old phone

I have an old motorola mpx200 smartphone and the phone itself is ok with new batt etc, except the charger port maybe spoiled or something since it doesnt charge. I wanna ask if there are ppl who buy up these old/not-so-working phones for cheap or whatever? And if yes, where can i find them to dispose off the phone? Thanks.

lcd glare

Uhm i just got a samsung 732n+ 17" and somehow when say, surfing on websites with white background, the glare is really really bad to the point i cant stand it. Ive tried all sorts of settings but it just seems to be "inherent" in it. Are all lcd monitors like this?(was using CRT). Currently my settings are 35 bright 40 contrast. If i set them lower, then everything else will be so dim/dark. I have installed the drivers but i didnt install the magictune, etc stuff. I figure they are just so you can configure from software instead of manually pressing the buttons right? So just wondering is it just me or does anyone have a solution to this? Thanks.

NTFS encryption

I just got a new pc and installed the old pc's drive into my new one. Now, on the old pc, i had encrypted some files/folders with the windows ntfs encryption thing. Problem is, on the new pc i cant view those files. Windows deny me access because the new pc is a fresh installation of windows and the certificates/keys dont match the old one. Neither did i backup the old keys and export it to the new hdd. Does anyone know how to decrypt those files? Thanks.

Phone virus?

I own a sony ericsson k810. One day, there were problems with the memory card, ie cant save/delete pictures to it. But whatever that was on the card before the problem appeared can still be accessed/viewed. The phone also acted weird and sometimes shut off itself. So i had a friend lend me his memory card and put it into mine, which i was then able to save/delete pictures. Its assumed my memory card is faulty or some sort. Then, i had my card put into my friend's phone, which is of the same model. Again the problem was there.

Later on, my friend's phone started to behave weird like my phone. He couldnt save/del images from his card and have almost the same problems. It sounds like a virus of some sort..but afaik there are almost no virus for j2me or is difficult to infect. So wanna ask has anyone experienced this before?
