Non-Apple-Certified RAM on Macbooks

Hi all,

Need advice from Macbook users. I know the recommended RAM for Macbook is the Apple Certified ones, so I don't need advice on that. What I need is advice from users who have successfully use Non-Apple-Certified RAM on Macbooks.

Reason: Apple-Certified RAM are more expensive and good bargains on those RAMs are are hard to get in Malaysia. Heard of problems when using those RAMs especially Kingston KVR (read a lot about it in forums). OEM RAM for Apple has been known to be Crucial, Hynix and Samsung. Anyone used other brands on Macbook before, such as Team Elite, Winova, Kingmax etc etc?

I.T. skills in demand (2012 ~)

I would like to start a topic here which I think is very useful to those two who are planning to take the path of programming and even already an expert but wish to make a change. I.T. is everywhere in today's life and it has created a huge demand for people with the right I.T. skills. There are also lots of people with I.T. qualifications and experiences but as with any industry, some stood out above the rest. So, the question is which skills (we focus more on technical skills as this is a section on coding) should we put more time and effort. This not only refer to our own learning but even the job we choose to take. Some might end up in a job which uses a technology which is out of date or ends up with 0-10 search results in a job search site. Unless the job is the job of our dreams and we can foresee retiring with it, we most likely would prefer investing in something with more security or future options.
