Need some feedback on my upcoming rig.

Guys,

Would appreciate some comments prior to buying my new rig. Cost around RM9k.

Case BitFenix Prodigy (Black)
Mobo ASUS P8Z77-I Deluxe Mini-ITX
CPU Intel Core i7 3770K 3.50Ghz (will OC)
GPU Palit 4GB NVIDIA Geforce GTX 690
RAM 16GB (2 x 8GB) Corsair Dominator Platinum DDR3 2400Mhz CL10
ODD 12X LG BD-Combo
SDD 2 x 128GB Crucial M4 (Raid 0)
HDD 2 x 1TB Samsung SpinPoint F3 (Raid 0)
PSU Corsair HX850M 80+ Silver
CPU Cooler Thermaltake Water 2.0 Pro
CPU Cooler Fan 2 x 120mm BitFenix Spectre LED (Blue) - Push/Pull
Top Case Fan 2 x 120mm BitFenix Spectre LED (Blue)
Front Case Fan 230mm BitFenix Spectre LED (Blue)
Internal Power Cables 24pin, 8pin EPS, 6+2pin PCIE x 2 Sleeved Cable Set (Black)
Monitor Dell UltraSharp U2412M IPS Panel

I fell in love with the Prodigy since the 1st time I saw it. Since then I've long been wanting to get it.

I'm the hardcore gaming type and my future wife (getting married soon) is more on image editing and rendering type. The thing we have in common is that both of us love to watch blu-ray movies.

Well my question is more on this actually...
I'm thinking to upgrade my monitor to single monitor setup Dell U3011 (2560x1600) in the future since 24" is kinda too small. Is it good for watching blu-ray movies? Or should I just stick with U2412M? Prefer 16:10 aspect ratio.

Thanks
Firdaus

Healthcare Risk Management System

Our Risk department is currently looking for a web-based Healthcare Risk Management System that should assist us in providing a comprehensive oversight of the following risk management activities:-

1- Incident, adverse event and near miss reporting
2- Patient relations
3- Malpractice claims management
4- Risk assessment
5- Safety alerts
6- Patient experience and feedback
7- Accreditation self-assessment
8- Complaints, compliments, comments and concerns

The system must be highly configurable, which means that it can tailored accordingly to our job function/structure and unique requirements.

The system should deliver a complete patient safety risk workflow, where all improvement actions can be managed together, regardless of whether they are initiated by an investigation, a complaint or an informal comment.

Trend analysis is the key part of the information that the system should provide. Trend reports must be accessible easily, by anyone who needs them. The system also should provide metric-driven dashboards, which can be tailored at user, ward, department or health system level.

Most importantly we are looking for proper software developer company that can give us proper advice & most importantly after sales support services.

So if anyone who have suggestions or contact please do share with me, I would like to propose any interested vendor to sit down chit chat, drink kopi O and have a short conversation to let us know more about the product.

FYI, our institute is one of Malaysia's premier healthcare centre.

Thanks in advanced guys!

Should you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact me at my number +(6010)212 0303 or email me at firdausidris@gmail.com

Regards,
Firdaus

Dell U2410 vs Alienware AW2310

Hi,

I am currently looking for an upgrade LCD. I am deciding between Dell U2410 and Alienware AW2310.

What would you guys pick?

U2410 - Would be upgrading to an IPS panel which I would very much like, and get to keep the 1920x1200 resolution that I prefer over 1080. But costs RM1,599.

AW2310 - 120 HZ for very smooth realistic gameplay which is appealing to me. But has a TN panel and will be a smaller display and losing pixels 1920x1080. Only costs RM1,259.

I am a gamer (mostly FPS, RPG, BF3, Skyrim, D3, Dota2), movie watcher, web surfer. Given my preference and thoughts above, what do you think would be a better choice?

Thanks!
