Potential trademark infringement?

Hi,

I am researching on a domain name for a blog on food and need help to understand the potential issue of trademark infringement.

I have been researching on the net about potential of trademark infringement specifically related to hyphenated domain name. I understand that it is possible that the trademark owner will issue cease and desist letter to the owner and will cite Cyber-Squating Act as the excuse to force the domain owner to surrendere their domain.

However this particular trademark has an hyphen in it name. For example the registered trademark is j-cole. Would registering a domain like www.jcole.com (assuming that it is available and spell correctly) be deem as infringed on the registered trademark j-code ®?

Anyway has experience with this kind of situation?
