SSPN tax relief

Hi all, I have a few questions regarding SSPN tax relief.

1. Me and my wife do our taxes separately, we have 1 kid. From what I know, only 1 of us can claim for the 8k SSPN tax relief. But I found out from some website. that states that both parents can each claim 8k for the one kid, so total 16k for a kid, even with more kids also cap at 16k. So which 1 is true?

2. If let say the 8k per kid is true and only 1 of us can claim it. This year my wife did the 8k SSPN tax relief, and have since withdraw the money from the account. To fully claim again next year, she has to deposit 16k. My question is, what if I do the claim for next year, I only need to deposit 8k? Or 16k also?

Was driving slowly out of a parking lot then suddenly a motor also just started moving but didn't see me coming and bang my side door, then just act like ntg happen and ride away. It's all caught on dashcam, should I report to police? Would like to claim for insurance, damage not too serious but there are scratches and dents. Just worry that I will get saman for this.

Adjuster cost of repair too low

Hey guys,

My 3 year old car just got flooded recently, water up to tires height. My insurance has some coverage up to RM10k to cover the repair cost.

The problem now is the authorized car workshop is not happy with the adjuster's cost of repair, which is around 4k. He said it is impossible to fix with that amount, ie overhaul engine and replacing possible damaged electronics, keep telling me I need to top-up to repair.

What should I do? I thought adjuster will confirm with the car workshop on the repair cost? Is there any dispute I need to worry about? Please help.

Hey guys,

I know this is a car issue but I wish to post here to get a faster response.

Small kitchen renovation (58 sq ft)

Hi all, would like to seek for some advice for my 58 sq ft small kitchen.

Below is the floor plan for my 1-bedder studio unit. As u can see the pantry area is really small and not utilised.

I plan to renovate it into a functional kitchen like this, which consists of U shape wall and floor cabinets, complete with worktops, sinks/taps, and hood/hob.

Need advice on pricing as well as recommendation for the furnitures.

Is 1999 Honda Civic a good choice? From Fuelly it shows good fuel consumption, but is it reliable? Will it be hard and high cost to maintain? I'd appreciate it if any Civic user could reply

Hi guys, I would like to make bulk purchase for this Waist Belt designed for runners.

As a runner myself, I've tried several cheap Waist Belt like the stretchable ones (shown below) you can normally find in other group buy website. But after long usage it tends to loosen and I find it very annoying as it keeps falling below my waist!

Another disadvantage is that it can't really fit in a bottle, as a runner, staying hydrated is really important!
