hi, currently, if we wanna connect to a vpn server, we gotta create a pptp connection from windows.
is there anyway which we can set the pptp connection directly from the modem/router's interface?
so that whenever we plug in the phone line, it's automatically connected to the vpn server.

i think i saw dd-wrt has support for openvpn, but how bout pptp?

The design looks good, and what more, the battery life support up to 10.5 hours ... WOW.
I saw this model in Asus Global site and so is in Singapore site, but not at all in Msia.

Anyone knows when will this be available in the market and will it make it in Msia too?

currently, my webDAV folder inside /usr/local/apache/htdocs is set to nobody.nobody, during installation, i read the instruction and it says that the webDAV folder has to be set to nobody.nobody so that apache can access it, but then this is very insecure, may I know how can I setup a password protected webDAV

and also, can webDAV be enabled on the whole server rather than adding DAV On into directive for a particular user?

Hi, all network gurus, I would like to have configuration for 2 pc as shown in the pic.

The scenario is,
I have two PC, PC1 has two NIC installed, the NIC1 is used to connect to router modem for going out to the Internet.
Whereas NIC2 is used to connect to PC2 via a cross-cable.

All the NIC have static IP set as below:
PC1, NIC1:
IP: 192.168.1.2
Subnet: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 192.168.1.1 (Router's IP)
DNS1: 202.188.0.133
DNS2: 202.188.1.5

PC1, NIC2:
IP: 192.168.1.3
Subnet: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: What should I put for this?
DNS1: Do I need to enter for this?
DNS2: Do I need to enter for this?

PC2, NIC1:
IP: 192.168.1.4
Subnet: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: What should I put for this?
DNS1: Do I need to enter for this?
DNS2: Do I need to enter for this?

What is the correct settings for 2nd NIC in PC1 and the NIC in PC2 in order for PC1 and PC2 to communicate with each other?
