Dental MC

one of my colleague has a toothache and went to see dentist...

the doctor had done operation on her in the process to cabut her tooth...

the doctor gave her 3 days MC but my colleague juz took 2 days...

when she pass the MC to HR, the HR told her Dental MC cannot be use to claim sick leave, have to deduct from her annual leave...

as far as i know, dental expenses reimbursement is a no for some company but does dental MC also is a no too?

Company Late Pay Salary

okie i need an advise from you guys...

my current company until today (08/01/2018), still not yet pay me my december 2017 salary.

probably you guys might think that, my company has a financial cash flow problem, but i can assure you its not due to financial cash flow.

it started in december 2017,

- 22 December 2017 - Selected qualified HQ and Operation staff salary is release early (Qualified = staff is a christian and his salary is never been hold before in the past 6 months due to lateness)

- 26 December 2017 - Operation staff salary who is not a christian is released, exclude the staff who has more than 3 times lateness

- 28 December 2017 - HQ staff salary who is not a christian is released, exclude the staff who has more than 3 times lateness

- 6 January 2018 - Operation staff salary who has lateness more than 3 times is released

and today (08/01/2018), HQ staff which is include me still not yet get their salary.

Note:
- your salary will get hold until the 7th of following month if you are late report on duty more than 3 times within a month (eg. work start at 8am, staff thumbprint at 8.01am is consider late even tho he work an extra 30mins or 1hr at the end of the day)
- Salary is usually released by 28th of the month every month, provided that you dont have the lateness issue

should i go and report this to JTK?

what has been bother me now is my future within this company if i go report to JTK coz previously got this incident happen where a staff took his contract (which we call it a Bond) to JTK, and the day he came back from outstation, he is terminated immediately.

Discrimination based on Religion?

I dunno if this is a right place to ask this question

is it some kind of discrimination based on religion if a company release salary early only for staff who is a Christian ?

Christmas is around the corner, and i heard the HR is questioning each staff religion and decide based on their religion if the staff is eligible for early release of salary.

Boss' Instruction

I just wonder if we can reject any instruction from boss which is totally out of your job scope? and any way to reject it?

today i saw my colleague "A" who work as head of customer service department, been asked by her boss (a young Director) to clear the rubbish inside his room (we do have a cleaner but today the cleaner is off)... then my another colleague "B", who is under colleague "A" department, went to his room and took out the rubbish... After that, I saw again my colleague "B" went to buy mineral water from a sundry shop nearby for the same boss... the colleague "B" buy and directly deliver the mineral water bottle to the boss room, during the time the boss is not in the room... 5 mins later the boss came to my colleague "A" and ask her to put the mineral water bottle into the fridge... then my colleague "B" went again to the room, take the bottle, and put inside fridge, while the boss is talking to his lover over her desk... btw, the boss is in relationship with one of the staff inside the company, which is much lower level (Officer)...

any advice regarding this?

Give Angpow to Boss?

I juz married, the company i worked for 5yrs got 2 boss director, one is the father and one is the son. the son is not married yet, and he is younger than me by 4yr old...

so should i give him Angpow?

btw the father already went back to his hometown and didnt give his staff any Angpow. it has been 3 years since he gave us the red packet. 1st year, i got RM50...2nd year, i got RM2..3rd year until now, nil...

Cheque Clearing Period

juz wondering how long the chq will be float until we can use the money....

let say...my customer live in KK, he issue a chq to me in KL...then he bank in the chq there in KK...

is this chq consider a local chq or outstation chq?

how long it'll take to get the chq clear until i can use the money?
