RJ11 to RJ45 cable/converter

Hi guys,

Do you know where i can buy a RJ11 to RJ45 cable/converter?

The unifi modem is installed in the databox in my storeroom and inside the data box, RJ45 port is used for telephone line to the living room (at the living room wall it is output as RJ11 port). So i need that cable from unifi modem RJ11 port to connect to this RJ45 port at the data box.

Entry level speakers package

Hi Guys,

I am planning to buy a 5.1 theatre system, an entry level one. I am thinking of getting the Yamaha av receiver rx-v473, but i am still looking for a speaker package that it can drive.

Could u guys recommend any 5.1 speaker package which cost below rm 2k ? and is better than yamaha ns-p20/ns-p40?

Was thinking about boston accoustic soundware xs 5.1, but after reading around online and talk to shops, found out that the sub got some issue and does not last.

Has anyone recently bought a linksys WRT54G version 4? Serial Number starting with CDFA. If so can you let me know which shop you got it from?

I am looking for it and tried a few shop in PJ area, they are either no stock or selling a Version 5. Wanted to know the possibility of finding it at low yat or some where else before heading down to kl.

Hi guys,

Yesterday I went to a shop in PJ to shop for Linksys WRT54G. I read from this forum that i need to get one with version 1 to 4 but not 5, as 1 to 4 is running linux and i will be able to flash in a better third party firmware. And there is a sticker beneath the router that states its version number.

But unfortunately i checked the box and no way i can see which version is it. And since it packaging has a layer of plastic over the box, the shop doesn't want to open it to check it.

So guys, for those who bought this router before, how you guys checked it? And which shop in LY that will check for its customer?

Dsl 500g problem with p2p

Hi guys,

I have a very old dlink dsl 500g and i found it has a problem with emule or sometimes bittorrent too. it always slow down the conn to 0 when using emule or bittorent. Even browsing is effected when this happened.

it has firmware of R2.00.B6(020618i1/T93.3.19). Does anyone flash a new firmware in before and will it solves the problem? if so may i know where to get the firmware?

Another question, if i switch it to bridge mode and use it as pure modem, buy a linksys wrt54g and link to it, will this works and solve my problem?
