isms - changes new message tone

I installed isms (r2) on my fw1.1.4 iphone. It works wonderfully, except that each time an SMS arrives, my iphone makes the "Tri-tone" sound instead of the "Glass" sound, which is what i have selected as "New Text Message" tone in Settings. Before i installed isms (using the default sms app), each time a new SMS comes it, it would give off the "Glass" sound.

Does isms over-write the setting for "New Text Message" and always uses the "Tri-tone" sound? I have a problem with the "Tri-tone" sound as it's not loud/sharp enough, and there's been many time i've missed hearing the sound (hence not knowing when a new SMS comes in).

Is there a way to increase SMS font size?

My eyesight isn't so good for short-sighting; hence, i find the font size in the SMS threads to be very tiny. Is there a way to increase the font-size for the SMS threads (the screen that shows a single thread between 2 people smsing)? Really don't know why Apple didn't provide an option to use a bigger font size.

I search all over but can't find any possibility. Me using v1.1.4.

Creating or call contact from SMS?

I can't seem to find any info on this, so I have to ask. Two basic things which I can't seem to find in the iPhone.

a) When i received an sms from someone who's not in my contact list, is there a way to save that phone number as a new contact? It seems an obvious functionality but i can't find it in iPhone?

b) When i'm viewing an SMS, is there a way to call that person?

Need help on installing Installer on 1.1.4

I just obtained an unlocked iPhone 1.1.4 today from someone who recently bought it in USA. It works fine with my SIM card (in malaysia), but there is no Installer icon in it. After much searching, i found out that Installer is available from apptap.com. I used a Windows PC and downloaded the Installer for Windows. When i run the installer setup, it prompts me for iPhone versions 1.0.0, 1.0.1, or 1.0.2 only. Am I out of luck? What should I do?

Where to buy iPhone in Penang

I've finally succumbed to the iPhone 'force' and have decided to get the iPhone to replace my HTC Touch Dual.

Where in Penang can I purchase a new iPhone? How much should i expect to pay for it? Is 1.1.3 the latest revision of the OS that is available now?
