Hey guys, just want to share with you guys my new YouTube Channel.

This content is currently pretty basic to help jump start savings with minimal risk/work and definitely not catered to experienced or veterans in the PF world. There are riskier investments out there that can yield more ROI but for starters, let's not go there for now.

Let's face it, majority of our Malaysian young adults (late teens to early 30s) these days do not save enough (or at all), whether for retirement or for a goal in life. Instead, they go around spending money like there's no tomorrow. It pains me to see how much they "splurge" on themselves as if their parents are millionaires.

I noticed there are not many local YouTube channels that are made exclusively for our country, therefore, I believe there may be a need for this to ensure us Malaysians are not left out.

Basically, this channel is to talk about career as well as personal financing, targeted towards Malaysian fresh graduates, millennial as well as Gen Z-ers (that don't mean audience from other countries cannot learn). These videos are made based on my experience in the corporate/working world of over a decade, and I truly believe that it will be helpful to our younger audience and friends.

Feel free to share with anyone who you see fit, or anyone who may benefit from learning a thing or two on said topics. I'm still trying to improve my content and my video editing skills therefore, pardon my amateur-ish video content. The whole idea is to express my topic as concise and less confusing as possible. Take my video for whatever you will - as tutorial, motivation, guide or advise, as long as you benefit from it.

Hopefully you can learn a thing or two from my life experiences. I'll be uploading every Saturday @ 12pm and some Wednesdays as well, so, subscribe and stay tuned!

Mobo Recommendation

Hi Sifus,

As per topic, can I get some suggestion of a good MOBO that can OC a 2600 to about 4.1-4.2 Ghz. My budget for this is RM500 and I don't mind going slightly higher (about 550) if it enables better OC.

I'm currently interested in a B350 board but I'm not too sure if any of these boards have good VRM for that kind of OC. If there is one it might probably be nearing the budget of an entry level X370 (or X470) which it's definitely worth taking over a B350.

Is it even worth going for an X370/X470 board just for a Ryzen 2600? Hope Sifus can share some light. Thanks.

M.2 SSD not detected

Hi all,

About a month back I bought a new laptop (Lenovo Y520) and have decided to put in an M.2 SSD but it doesn't seem to be detectable.

I have tried disabling secure boot, boot in legacy mode, and even switching the UEFI to AHCI but to no avail. FYI, the SSD that I have now is the Pendrive M.2 2280 128 GB SSD.

Is it possible that the SSD or M.2 slot is having a problem or this is some kinda compatibility issue? I can't test the SSD on another PC as I don't have a MOBO that has an M.2 slot.

Asking all tech sifus for help and thanks!

Upgrades Recommendation

Hello everyone. Recently bought Watch Dogs and found that my about 5 year old Core 2 Duo rig is completely destroyed by this game . I would like to upgrade a few components which I would like to ask the LYN sifus here for advise. The parts I want to upgrade most would be the MOBO, Processor, RAM and a 128GB SSD. If luck would have it, I wish for the new parts to last me for another good 4-5 years. My budget would be 1.5k or lower is possible. Thanks guys =)

Call of Duty : Modern Warfare 2

It has been announced by Activision that Infinity Ward will once again be the developer of the latest CoD title due to release next fall. So, what do you expect to see in this installment? As for me, I hope that they could up the multiplayer level cap to 65 just like in WaW and bring in more variety of weapons.

Programs load slower with Bitdefender A/Virus

I recently formatted my PC and having 4 GB of RAM, my programs load the moment I click on them. Well, that was before I reinstall my antivirus but after I installed it, all programs took a while to load (some programs took over 10 secs to load). Appreciate all comments and help. TQ
