            <title>Symposium and Workshop “The Art of Metabolomics -</title>

            <description>Assalamu&amp;#39;alaikum &amp;amp; Greetings to Datuk/ Datin/Prof/ Prof. Madya/Mr./Ms.&lt;br /&gt;  &lt;br /&gt;Pharmacogenomic Centre UiTM (PROMISE) and Malaysian Metabolomic Society (MyMS) are going to host the symposium below, and on behalf of the Symposium Chairman ,Assoc Prof Dr Teh Lay Kek and PROMISE&amp;#39;s Director, Prof. Dr. Mohd Zaki Salleh,  we would like to invite you to participate in the Australasian Symposium and Workshop in Metabolomics organized by the Pharmacogenomics Centre, UiTM . The event would be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.&lt;br /&gt;For the symposium, a series of plenary lectures will be held by prominent speakers who have been working on metabolomics. There will be also sessions for oral presentation by selected participants. This workshop will be a combination of lectures and practical sessions focusing on LC-MS data acquisition, data extraction and statistical analysis of large datasets. At the end of the course participants should be familiar with sample preparation, LC-MS data acquisition, LC-MS data interpretation, statistical analysis of metabolomics data sets and challenges associated with all of the above.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Details on the symposium are as below &lt;br /&gt;  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Symposium and Workshop “The Art of Metabolomics : Moving Forward to Integrating Systemic Biology in Post-Genomics Era”&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;22 - 25 March 2012, Kuala Lumpur - Malaysia&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Important Dates :&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Early registration is before and on 31st December 2011&lt;br /&gt;The deadline for submission of abstract  is 31 January 2012.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;p/s: please spread this announcement to your friends and families</description>
