Female Coverage Insurance

Hey all,

Wish to start a discussion on female coverage, which seemed to be increasingly important and popular..

Here are some food for thoughts:

a) What's the rule of thumb for minimal coverage required?

b) Is there any overlapping between female coverage versus other critical illness coverage? I understnad some like cervix cancer is specially excluded ...but what other other cancer... doesn't critical illness oso covers that? Why have both then ?:

c) Why women needs special coverage... and there's no male coverage specific insurance:P hehehe, easier to earn money from woman isnt?

d) Among Prudential, AIA and Great Eastern, Prudential seemed to offer more "value" or choices.. by including LifeStageBenefit whereby they offers RM 1500 for 2 events (marriage, child birth) ? Any other companies offer this? Is it really value for money or yet another gimmick consumers should be aware of?

Anyway, that's just my 2 cent worth. My humble apologies if I offended anyone...

Thanks;)
