Need help with setting up bandwidth limiter!

I have been using my Asus RT N12HP as my main wireless router for quite sometime and it has been good. I just bought the D-Link DAP-1360 as Access point yesterday and placed it downstairs for better coverage and connect it to my Asus RT N12HP via LAN cable. Now the problem is I need to limit the bandwidth on the access point but I don't know how. Please help! I've tried browsing around on my Asus but can't seem to set a fix bandwidth to the access point.

And my budget is only around RM3800 just for the pc and hope with this spec able to last me for another 4-5 years. I hope this spec able to handle games like warhammer, sc2, diablo3 at max performance if possible.

mobo = gigabyte EP45-DS3R

vga = gigabyte 9800 gtx+

processor = Q9450 2.66ghz 1333fsb 12mb cache

ram = 4gb kingston KHX8500D2K2

hdd = WD 640gb 16mb

casing = cooler master cm-690

psu = gigabyte odin pro 550w truepower

dvdwriter = pioneer

Connection Timeout Problem

Broadband provider
ISP/package: streamyx RM88
Location: Subang
Have you called your ISP's helpline?: Yes

Personal equipment
Modem: Aztech DSL 600EU
Router: Aztech DSL 600EU
Firewall used: WinXP SP2
Network card : Yukon wxp onboard network card.

Problem details
First occurence of problem: Using Bitcomet only
Problem frequency: Every half an hour to 1 hour happen once.
Problem description: Time out.

Currently using Aztech dsl 600EU firmware 62.53.2 and WinXP sp2 but having problem downloading when I use Bitcomet.
Seems like it is downloading fine in the beginning but after bout half an hour or 1 hour, my connection died. The light at the modem is still stable which means i'm still connected (that's what i think). But I can't browse, can't get into 192.168.1.1, msn died and of course download stopped as well. Pretty much no connection at all but light at modem is stable. My settings in my Bitcomet is all default except I turned off the uPnP and did a port forwarding, as for my router I port forwarded my Bitcomet and using PPPoE connection, turned off firewall only and connection is no idle timeout (On Demand box is not checked), uPNP is off as well.

Is there something wrong with my configuration in Bitcomet or modem router or network card? Cos the timeout thingy only happens when I try to download stuff using Bitcomet.

I just don't wanna get timeout at all while downloading using Bitcomet. I don't mind not running any other task at all just as long as i can stay connected like 24/7 downloading.

Please help.
