PC type: Desktop
Connection to Router: Wireless

Questions: How to set the security password on the wireless Router?

Problem: Unsecured Network

Router - Belkin Wireless G+ MIMO Modem Router
USB Adapter - Belkin G USB

Problem – Unable to set the password (WPA, WEP) for the Router to avoid neighbor from gain access into my network. There’s no communication between the wireless USB with the Router (but still can connect to Internet).

I have posted some screen shots from my PC.

PIC 1 - USB wireless device shows no connection with the router.

Based on the latest promotion from Microsoft Malaysia as below.

Query 1
20% of RM279 = RM223 rite? How come RM199?

"Also if you are heading to PC Fair at KL this weekend, make sure you are one of the early birds as Microsoft will be selling the first 100 copies at only RM99."

Query 2
PC Fair II is starting from 1st - 3rd Aug, so in order to enjoy the first 100 copies at RM99, so what day should we go? Friday or Saturday? Coz the above statement mentioned as "this weekend".

Altec Lansing VS2421 Can't Skype

I have downloaded Skype and when I about to test the sound recording, I can't hear my own voice. What's wrong in there? Thought VS2421 equipped with built-in microphone for Skype, MSN, etc.

I troubleshoot in the Sound properties under Windows Control Panel and the message is 'No microphone installed'. I'm not using a microphone as VS2421 have built in one at the volume controller. How to solve it?

Question on Belkin USB Adapter

I'm currently using Belkin Wireless G+ MIMO Modem Router while for the adapter I choosed wireless USB adapter 54Mbps.

Is the above combination give me the optimum result? Or should I go for Wireless G+ MIMO USB Adapter to suit my router's spec?

I'm using Belkin G+ wireless router but can't access to certain website like hotmail.com, etc. Some of you suggest to lower down the MTU setting, my current setting is 1432, I tried lowered it to 1400 but even worse...

So any solution?
