Problem running firefox when torrenting

hey guys... i'm currently using the latest utorrent version.... and i've been experiencing something weird about it

everytime my utorrent is running in the background... i can't seem to open my firefox (as in, i click but it will not open... but when i enter the task manager... i can see firefox running in the background)

even my RSS and my yahoo widgets stop working when i open utorrent

however, once i close my utorrent... everything is back to normal... my RSS and widget is working fine n internet surfing is fast...

freaking weird.... then i tried with other torrent clients and i get the same thing.... is this a common problem? cos if it is.. i would like to repair it instead of reformatting my computer....

Software to customise keyboard buttons?

hey guys....

is there any recommended freeware software where i can customise the buttons on my keyboard?

for example, i have other useless buttons such as favourites and email buttons on my keyboard which i rarely use...

i would like to change the button to Next track on my media player....

so far i have only found a shareware which work.... it's keyextender http://www.sharewareconnection.com/keyextender.htm

from wat i understand, this pda has 2 batteries. one is the main batt n the other is the backup batt.

Ques 1. how do i totally switched the pda off if i do not wish to use it but still retain the information in the pda? i tried taking out the main batt but the backup batt still kicks in. So in the end, all information is lost when the backup batt is empty.

Ques 2. say accidentally, i can't charge my pda for a few days n both batt goes empty. how do i retrieve the data back?

My PC won't start (no beep)

hey guys... help needed here...

few days ago... i was starting my comp n while it was starting it just suddenly went off...
i tried to on the PC again but this time, it will not boot

1) there is nothing on the screen but monitor is on
2) there is no beep
3) power is on but the power, busy n reset light on the front of my casing is not lid

i bought an 2nd hand mobo thinking that my mobo was fried...
i assembled it this morning n the same problem persists...

my first mobo is an asus a8n-sli s939
while my second hand mobo is a DFI infinity s939

so far, i tried booting my graphic card (GC) on my friend's pc n my GC is working so it's not the GC problem...

pls help guys.... really need it n thanks in advance for all the help!!!

My CM blue ice won't stick!

recently, my heatsink fan for my northbridge chipset went kaput...

so i decided to buy a CM blue ice... however, the CM blue ice can't be mounted on my mobo... wherelse my previous stock heatsink fan, it can mounted on the mobo...

the CM blue ice keeps dropping off... and i got so pissed with it, i took off the thermal sticker alrd... cos it's not sticky anymore... now, my computer has to be placed horizontally...

help me guys! i wanted to get the arctic alumina/epoxy but i heard that once u put it on... it will be permanent! so, wat do i do after the fan rosak again???

there is a cooler master thermal sticker... but then modeno said that it won't hold without a mounting! help guys!

my 6600GT graphics suck after changing slots!

hey guys... here goes my prob...

i'm using a MSI 6600GT (with arctic silencer 6)
ASUS A8N-SLI motherboard...
AMD 64 3000+ (winchester)
1GB DDR1 Corsair Ram

bought my system bout a year plus alrd... just recently my northbridge fan kaput.... so i changed it to a slightly bigger fan...
after that, i realised that i can't fit my 6600GT at the original slot (slot 1)
so nvm... i changed my card position to the second slot (slot 2)
after that, i played NFS most wanted and i realised that it was lagging!!!!
i runned 3DMark05 n i got a result of 2400 instead of my previous record 4100 (both were overclocked at the same settings)

so wat should i do now guys? pls help!!!
wat should i do in order to have a fast performance card producing from slot 2?

(i know some of u might ask me to change it back to slot 1 n change my fan... i do not wish to do that... any other advise is very very welcomed!!!)

i'm using a 6600GT card with forceware version 93.31
the problem is... i can't overclock! i can't seem to find the overclocking tool...
i tried clicking the help button but that didnt help!
in the help menu, it says that there will be an overclocking tool in the 3D setting... i can't find it!!!
